Disagree completely. Everyone from the midfield forward (besides Martial) could be replaced by anyone from the u21's. They've all been fucking shite, yet start week after week.
First United game in 3 years I'm not going to even attempt to watch. Well done Louis!!

He's under pressure and this is our best shot at a trophy, can you blame him for picking a strong side. I think Pereira is the only one with a case but with Rooney now out, that front four is going to be key for us and we need to build up the combinations there.

Where is this notion coming from that this is our best side? What proof, based on this season's performances do you have that this is our best side? The majority of these players have proved all season that they're not good enough, so why not gives some youngsters a deserved chance. Because we're scared of the mighty Shrewsbury?
Absolute, unequivocal joke. He simply has to go.

Well the U21s had a game like yesterday, didn't they? I see where you're coming from Jamie but I still feel like this is our only option.

If this side doesn't win and win convincingly, he should be sacked before he gets home tonight.

And he'd deserve to be. Will Keane is at worst a championship level player and Pereira will be a good prem player. If we can't beat Shrewsbury with any side we put out he should be gone.

Fuck it, I'll watch the game. Don't think you have a right to complain unless you watch the game but beware, if we don't play well, I'll not shut up about him losing his job until he's lost his job.

Well that's that. In to the next round and in with a real good chance of winning a trophy this season.
On the performance I have to say that despite the scoreline it was pretty flat besides the 3 goals. 1 of which was lucky, the 2nd which was a well taken free kick and the 3rd, the best of the lot, a great counter attack. Other than that there wasn't a great deal to write home about, besides maybe Keane hitting the post before he unfortunately went off injured.
I thought Pereira did great when he came on. Other than 1 or 2 sloppy passes he looked really sharp. He's such a livewire, always looking at how to move the ball forward, extremely confident in possession and stronger than people may think. He's the one change I'd make to the starting lineup for Thursday's game and I'm afraid it would be at the expense of Memphis. He tried hard and was involved a lot but was found wanting in the final 3rd. Hit about 4 shots that were that high they nearly went out of the stadium. So even though Pereira is better central, he did enough to earn a start on the left over Memphis for me.
But yeah, to sum it up. Job done.

Memphis was good and in my opinion the best player on the pitch, he created a lot of chances and was not losing the ball a lot and he tried with his shots. I appreciate players like that to be fair and I thought it was comfortable and the way it should be. I would take this again on Thursday
