I think he's got a combination of the next 2 games. He can afford a draw away to Stoke if we then beat Chelsea for me and rightfully so. Stoke is a fucking tough place to go, not least when you're out of form and low on confidence.

Blowing a gale and pissing down in most places north of Watford gap, unless it drops off some in the potteries it's going to be a cunt of a day for ball on the ground football.

I will never understand people (facebook) saying "I hope we lose so LVG gets sacked". I'd go De Gea Varela Smalling Jones Blind Schneiderlin Herrera Fellaini Mata Martial Memphis

It will be interesting to see LVG's reaction as his job is clearly under threat : will he adopt the same attitude, the same line up, same approach and be his boring self? Or will he revert to last year's successfull system? Will he dare to change and adjust a few things? There isn't a good or a bad decision to be fair, but if he can't take the points on boxing day in a satisfying way, he will be out, there is no doubt about that, and rightfully so.
I've been supporting him ever since he came in, I was sure he was the right man, but he has lost himself at some point imo. We reached a momentum last season when we played 4-3-3, with a more attacking and risky approach, the players were clearly enjoying it, it seemed to work well, even Rooney looked better and more concerned, but for no apparent reason he has decided to change that in the summer and we're suffering from that change. And yet we have an even more talented squad that would have been perfect for last year's approach.
Surprise us, Louis!

If he doesn't rip it up and start again he's out of a job sooner or later. Depends how he wants to go down fighting from here on in. I just hope we see the old master van Gaal doing an AZ Alkmaar. I genuinely hope someone has had a word in his ear.

Although I feel LVG is wrong for United I feel he was absolutely right to tell the press at the conference that they should enjoy Sex and Travel ( F-Off ). He did it politely and his exit comments were brilliant ( bunch of freeloaders ).
Their job is to gather news or a story about the up coming game, not to have the audacity to ask the man about his future at the club. They have the manners of pigs and no respect at all hiding behind their press privileges.

If he was going to go based on performances he wouldn't be here now, results wise this is his first real poor run so it will be interesting to see if he can turn it around but he needs the players on side of course.
I'm expecting a reaction today anyway.
Why does his friend keeping referring to him as Mr van Gaal, seen that in other articles, weird.

The Vitiba prediction predicated a Stoke city win . Unfortunately 94 out of the last 98 games they were correct including both Bournemouth and Norwich City games .
