Imperative that we get back to winning ways on Saturday and get out of this poor run we're currently on. Have to wait until tomorrow to find out if our injury troubles have eased at all. I imagine Schneiderlin will be back in the starting lineup at least and possibly Jones. It's tough to call how the game will go. Normally you'd say they'll sit back and try to frustrate us but with our injuries in defence they may just have a go, which could play into our hands if our attack can finally find some form. I'd be going with: Dave Varela Jones Blind Young Schneiderlin Carrick Pereira Mata Memphis Martial
I really think it's about time Pereira got a game at #10 for us. Nobody has convinced in that position so far this season, so why not give him a go? We gave Lingard a chance in the first team and he took it with both hands, I feel Pereira would do the same.
This may be controversial but I also wouldn't be against going with Powell at 9, with Martial and Memphis out wide. Mata has been fucking wank for weeks and doesn't deserve to be near the lineup. Powell can be a focal point in attack as he has been in the past when out on loan. He's big, strong and a great finisher.

Will have to wait and see on the injury front, if Herrera is back then I'd like to see us go back to the 433 of last season given our attacking options.
De Gea, Varela, McNair, Jones, Blind, Schneiderlin/Carrick, Herrera, Fellaini, Mata, Martial, Memphis.

haha. Well it's yet another opportunity that presents itself this weekend. At least 1 of Arsenal and City are going to drop points and Leicester face a tricky trip to Goodison. If I'm being honest, the way things are going literally nothing would surprise me. It's just sheer hope that I'm clinging onto these days. Not much else

Depends how many players we get back I guess. If we can get Jones back and he performs then it'd help some. Midfielder back wouldn't go amiss either. lol.

I'm going to go for United, but it won't be impressive. I'm Louis van Gaal's biggest critic, but he's had some bad injuries.
It might not be pretty, but it will be a big win for them. It's a catch 22 with Norwich, it's one of those games where you ask yourself, "do we have a go at United?" as they may never have a better chance. If they sit back they could play into United's hands, but if they have a go it could catch them off-guard unexpectedly.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0

Rooney, Herrera and Smalling have all trained for a full week. Whether that means they'll start I don't know but the injury crisis appears to be easing slightly.

Be ideal if we can get them on the pitch. Latter two in particular.

Sounds like Powell may have a shot and Rooney has more of a shout than Herrera or Smalling. If Rooney starts then I'd play Martial and Memphis in the wide attacking roles to try and get Wayne going on the scoring front.
It's good news nevertheless that they'll be back sooner rather than later given the period of fixtures coming up.

Yeah, how we could do with Rooney having one of his goal gluts for the next few weeks. Just can't see it coming from how he's performed so far this season.

So all news considered, I'm going for: De Gea Varela - Smalling - Jones - Blind Schneiderlin Herrera Mata Rooney Memphis Martial There's no escaping Rooney, let's not kid ourselves. If he's fit he'll play

I reckon Rooney's going to find some form over the next few weeks, just have a feeling. I still prefer the idea of Memphis up front with Martial out wide atm though. I'd also think of any way I could to get Mata out of the side, he's pissing me off.
