So it's our most important fixture of the season so far on Tuesday (out of the huge number of fixtures we've had). What sort of lineup are we expecting? Full strength and try to kill the game off in the first leg or a bit of rotation?

I'm inclined to agree except Memphis for Young. Got to keep throwing him in there to get comfortable in the side.

Same here, I'd probably put players like Rojo, Fellaini and Chicha in the subs and give them some playing time if possible.

Not got sound at work, what does he say about Mata?
I've read quotes about Rooney but nothing on Mata.

Basically the journo says would he not be better played centrally to supply Rooney with more chances. He says something along the lines of if he's the manager at a club he can go to the board and tell them why he makes certain decisions or something along those lines. Can't quite remember what he said exactly but the basic gist of it was who the fuck are you to tell me which of my players should be playing where.

Something along lines of 'are you the manager?' When asked if he'd move him central Just amusing, how media were banging him to play Roo upfront, he's done that and they are moaning. Now they want Mata central.

Backing us and Rooney
Merson's prediction
Club Brugge have started the season badly and even though I don’t think Man United have played that well they should have enough to win. I’m expecting another cagey one from Louis van Gaal’s side. Even though United haven’t done well they’ve been solid at the back.
Paul predicts: 2-0 - Rooney first goalscorer (Sky Bet odds: 13/1)
