If that was my girl friend and she asked me to give her oral sex while she was on her period, i'd ask her, "how long do you want me down there for baby?"
If he does leave for Madrid is it really surprising? Born and bred there, friends and family there, girlfriend there, one of the glamour capitals of the world, probably dreamt of playing there as a kid, xmas break, mild winters, hot summers, Spanish food. Of course he'd be a cnut to leave after we'd stood by him but it is a decision i would understand.

I think the media are making a mountain out of a molehill, the situation is the same as last week. LVG has always said that De Gea has always been professional, if he wasn't being then we'd know about it like with Valdes. Think Dave is right - avid journalists stirring up a shit storm and watching it fly I just hope LVG will give them some grief about this at his next presso or maybe just boycott them until the window is closed and save us all some hassle

It's a decision I'd understand more in a few years time. Not yet.
Technically he's doing absolutely nothing wrong. Accepted a 5 year contract and seems willing to see that out and be on his way. I'd just like to see a bit more loyalty. I don't care if he's kicking up a fuss about getting his move now or not, that's not the issue for me. It's the fact he wants to leave already.
The point I'm making is I'm not going to kiss the arse of a player who wants to ditch us after 4 seasons. I won't remember him fondly, nor will I wish him well for the future. Which is hard to say as he's been class for the last 2 seasons and been without doubt our best player.

Best case scenario would be for Dave to sign a new contract with an agreement to sell him next year, or January if he's eager to go, put him on the bench, play Romero, sell him for 40 and invest in another young keeper. But that's only possible in dreamland. Whatever happens happens, just get it over with.

Manchester United XI: Romero, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Mata, Memphis, Januzaj, Rooney.
Subs: Johnstone, Valencia, McNair, Schweinsteiger, Herrera, Young, Chicharito.

Happy enough with that. Januzaj or Depay as second striker?

Start of the season two wins, two goals, two clean sheets, 6 points I'll take that. We again look very efficient defensively, our pressing was good, the back four didn't give Villa a sniff and at the minute Blind is proving his doubters wrong so fair play to him. Schneiderlin in front bar the odd sloppy pass has been very solid, he was all over the pitch today. Upfront we looked disjointed and toothless, Rooney was woeful but he didn't have a great deal to feed off. Memphis made some good runs but the final ball was poor or the wrong option was chosen, he should have scored. Januzaj did well to get his goal but our midfield in the second half with Schneiderlin, Basti and Herrera looks much better. Just a bit of tweaking needed, go back to the 433 point backwards.

yeah we'll be fine when they settle and get into the groove and Rooney gets into it, you couldn't ask for a better start apart from bells and whistles.

Marginally better than last weekends performance, but it's an improvement nonetheless. I'm not worried, mind. We haven't been great, but we're only two games into the season. I'm very confident the performances will improve.
As has been mentioned; we've played 2 - won 2. It's a vast improvement on last seasons start to the season. Darmian was brilliant again and Shaw got another 90 minutes under his belt. I felt Smalling was solid, and Blind was surprisingly efficient at CB. It was great seeing Adnan getting that goal.
I'll echo what I said last week, the performance wasn't great but we've won and there are a lot of positives to take.
