Let's make de gea rot on the bench if he doesn't want to play for us. Not right for a player to have so much power. We also have to show Madrid who's the boss. If they are not paying the amount that we have demanded, then they don't get the player. Fed up with their bullying tacfics.

I wouldn't say rot on the bench, but at least stay there until he solves his future. We don't want a keeper whose head is not right. I'd be worried if we're playing Johnstone, although he looked good on pre-season. I guess it would depend mostly on the defenders. But yayyy, match day!

I never wanted Manchester United to be second to anybody. Only the best would be good enough

This is a solid team and should have enough to win this one. Only issue is obviously the keeper but there should be enough goals in us going forward. Really looking forward to this and a new no.7 is born !!

So far so good, survived a few early scares but dominated the rest of the first half fairly well.

united seriously is not good for my heart
we were not that good but very happy with the win
defensively, Smalling looked world class, he looked like Vidic or Ferdinand. Just that feeling of security i guess.
Darmian had the best debut i think, i loved the way he played on both ends, would never had said it was his first game, he fit in like a glove.
for both teams, lack of finishing, we lack height in the worst way, Ashley Young sending crosses to Rooney and Mata is not going to work at all. If we play like that we will need a bigger striker, if we get rid of Chicharito, we could do worse than a Berahino, a bit taller than rooney and can jump enough to get those crosses, just.
Spurs actually defended well, luckily for us Harry Kane was anonymous
special mention for Romero, his distribution in the first half was shocking, but his saves were vital. he played well, and he seemed so thrilled to be there, he had a smile on his face everytime he made a save or got the ball, which made me happy, was good to see. If he plays like this, we should be right without De Gea
anyway Smalling and Rojo in the back may be right.
