Man Utd vs Arsenal

For some reason I just think that United will edge this one. Wayne Rooney seems to be back to his best and although they were a bit lucky to beat Palace last weekend, and Arsenal did win the last time they went to Old Trafford in the FA Cup, I am going for United to win this one 2-1.
I actually thought United were unlucky to lose that cup game, they played better than many people gave them credit for on the night, and they were not helped either by Angel Di Maria getting sent off.
And while Arsenal have been on a great run in recent weeks, winning eight games in a row at one point, they never really looked like scoring against Swansea at home on Monday night.
So I see United turning in a performance here in front of their own fans and just getting the better of Arsenal in this game.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1 (17/2 with Sky Bet)

I think it'll be close, more inclined to go for a 1-1 draw myself but 2-1 might be on the money. A sensible prediction score wise but as usual there's not a great deal of reasoning from him.
He might as well have said " I fink United will win, cos.......I just fink they will."

Haha stop exposing Paul you guys, oh well I also think we might edge it over them because of our recent record over them and how we have been playing in the big ones. Since Arsenal will be more open than our recent opponents it gives a greater chance to create a lot of possibilities as VG always says. Hops we are clinical enough with the chances created which will enable us to win the game, very interested to hear who is fit in tomorrow's press conference.

I think uncle Paul's reasoning goes along the lines of there wasn't much difference between the two sides last time, until ADM got sent off (which definitely tipped the balance). United's final home game and will be looking for revenge / a scalp / put a marker down, and have enough to nudge an open game.
I'd go along with that general sentiment but mainly because I know LVG has the wherewithal to nullify Arsenals midfield advantage, or most open attacking teams.

Man United - Arsenal 3-0
Goal difference after: United +28, Arsenal +27
Arsenal next match vs Sunderland who's fighting to stay up: 1-1
Points of both teams after Gameweek 37: 71
Gameweek 38 a decider who's third, United has 1 goal advantage!
Lovely scenario!

I'm less confident that we can edge this one, our displays have been poor in the last few games and whether it's Carrick, low confidence or overall shittiness, I think Arsenal might get this one. Who knows though, we tend to turn up for big games so I hope I'm wrong. Let's see what Van Gaal has to say about our injury list

Rooney out, Shaw out and obviously Carrick. Evans is a question mark, Rafa is back but not fit to play.

a Rooney with something to prove will be a miss, bummer.
See if RVP steps up and grows some.

I agree, he's had time out, a fresh Wilson from the start with RVP coming on later ...but I reckon it will be the other way round. I just hope Falcao isn't ahead of Wilson, he's blown it for me.

I'd go for RVP from the start and Wilson later on, but yeah, I agree with that line up as well.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it seems like Falcao will start tomorrow, according to barneyrednews on twitter who has got every prediction right in terms of players starting. I hope ADM starts too, has had 2 assists in as many performances against the gunners.
