Valdes is on his way out by the sounds of it, he doesn't respect the philosophy and refused to play for the 2nd team last year.

He let him play the last game of the season last year to put himself in the shop window for other clubs. Pretty conclusive, Valdes is a goner.

Di Maria joining the tour squad on 25th July. But he was pretty non-committed when talking about whether he'd be here next season.
Was on great form in the presser, shouting at a journo saying "You invent stories!" I've missed the crazy bastard.

Confirmation from the club that Rojo and Hernandez will also join up with the squad on 25th July. Thinking about it I really wouldn't be against Hernandez being back in the squad next season. He offers something different to what we have and he's already at the club! Like I've said it's pointless spending big on a striker to play second fiddle to Rooney.

Maybe Chicha will come back, could be useful but would be surprised.

That was my favorite press conference so far, Van Gaal definitely knows how to make them interesting :lol:
Wasn't expecting the Valdes story, although I probably should have known when he was left out, but the picture he posted with "working hard for next season" threw me off; I'm still not convinced that Di Maria will leave, but if he does it's not because Van Gaal doesn't want him.
Chicha coming back...don't wanna be too optimistic, but if he's ok playing every now and then, then why not.

Really excited to see sean goss play and see how he steps up. Wonder what that might say about pearsons future at the club. Does LVG see a long term future for him here.
