play like we did against chelsea and have a few of our players back and this should be a win. despite the loss i think we still have form, and now maybe a bit of motivation to boot

Although Everton's form has ben resurgent, I still think this is a game where we can definitely pick up three points. Considering Goodison Park has traditionally been a tough place for us, we will probably need to dig in for the victory, but I still think we will edge this 2-1 or 1-0.

Everton are on a better run at the moment, but they shouldn’t be where they are anyway. They are a decent team and they’re now just starting to pick up and get the results.
People say 'Man Utd were brilliant at Stamford Bridge, they had 70 per cent possession’ – I can’t remember the Chelsea goalkeeper saving a shot I wouldn’t have saved myself. But I think this will be a real, real entertaining football match. Both teams will have a right go.
I know they’re a long way apart in the table, but if both teams have their full sides out I don’t see a lot between them.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-2 (Sky Bet odds 12/1)
The last line is just ridiculous. I can't think of one Everton player who would get in our current side. Maybe Jagielka at a push and even that's extremely dubious.
Stupid twat!

Blind could return.
Van Gaal provides injury update for Everton trip
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed to MUTV that Daley Blind could return from injury to face Everton in Sunday’s Barclays Premier League match at Goodison Park.
Blind suffered an injury during the Manchester derby victory and missed the following match at Chelsea. However, the boss also revealed Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Michael Carrick have not recovered in time for this weekend’s difficult trip to Merseyside.
Rafael is also out for the rest of the season after suffering a rib injury in Monday’s Under-21s match against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Adnan Januzaj was also substituted in the second half of that fixture as a precaution, though van Gaal feels his injury is “not so heavy”.

Chances are that Rafa's last start in a United shirt would be away at Yeovil...

Hopefully Blind will make it, I'd feel more comfortable with him in midfield. Too bad for Rafa, Yeovil would be an awful game to go out on

Blind in for Falcao, Rooney back up top. Always a shit against Merseyside clubs, hopefully he'll turn that around now when it's most needed. We Go Again!

Confident ahead of today. Blind (hopefully) back in for the majority of the game got me feeling like this has 2-0 written over it. The football we've been playing recently won't suit them if they try and bring the game to us, I feel like we will play the ball around them and bring it home.

That was fun to watch...if fun means painful (which it does to some people).
It was a shocking display from pretty much everyone. Back to the slow laborious stuff that defined the early part of our season. I think it was obvious from early on what was going to happen. Seemed to lack the desire compared to Everton today, they got in and around Fellaini and frustrated him early on, I was surprised he got to half time still on the pitch. Lots of pretty build up play but once in the final 3rd absolutely nothing again and when we did get a chance on goal the finishing was poor at best.
Shaw was awful defensively today, he didn't try hard enough to get back for the first goal and was caught out of possession countless times in the first half. Lennon definitely had his number today. I also don't think he was that great going forward either, yes he has a lot of pace but when he gets into dangerous positions he often makes the wrong choice in what to do. Frustrated with him more than anyone today.
Not enough from any of the attacking players, Di Maria was dogshit when he came on again, as was Falcao. Rooney didn't get involved enough and Mata and Herrera played a part in the slow play from midfield. The defence was shaky as fuck today as well.
I think today's a reality check. We've been in superb form of late and have received all the plaudits (rightfully so). I'm not concerned about the future at all, not concerned about the rest of the season either, think we'll get it back together and win our remaining games. This was our worst performance of the season and I'm just putting it down to one of those days. But what it shows us is that we're not quite there yet, we've improved massively and are the most exciting team in England going forward but we won't hit the heights we expect unless we strengthen in the right areas in the summer.

Well that was a poke in the eye and reminder for all concerned.
I thought VG's restructuring of the training pattern to mimic early kick offs might have paid dividends today but we werent even at it. Another loss without Carrick.
