Still not 100% convinced about him. Very good work ethic, gets up and down the pitch but still gives the ball away a little too easy. Hopefully he'll become a major player for us when he gets used to the premier.

I don't think Blind has been as bad a some people seem to make it out to be. Neville's comments were nothing I haven't heard from almost every other pundit. He's given the ball away a bit too much lately, but then again so has Herrera. Could he look for the long ball to release a striker a little more? Sure. Are those the instructions LVG has been giving him? I'm not so sure. They're 10 games into their Premier League careers. It's a process. I think Blind will be just fine.

Knew it wouldn't be long before Daley started getting all the same criticism Carrick has got for years. Surprised it has come from Neville though.

As much as I love Gary - this seems a bit unfair
Daley is only 24, has made only 7 appearances but has already shown a great work rate and determination
He cost us around 14 M ............ remind me again how much was Fellaini ?
Give the lad a chance Red Nev .............. or would you prefer Cleverley ?

He hasn't really said THAT much, and also it would be unfair if everyone including Di Maria gets stick and he flies under the radar.

Well I was a fan of Carrick and to me, Blind is basically an update to Carrick. In my opinion, he's great at what he does. He just facilitates ball movement, always makes himself open to his teammates, and he's more mobile than Carrick so I don't understand the criticism. He was never going to be a super tough defensive midfielder or the most creative player on the pitch, but he's good at his job and players like him are needed in the squad.

even di maria gave away the ball against city... blind was good. And I agree with you Michael, he may not be that creative DM like yaya, vidal and the likes, but he is well suited to the role he is given and showing a lot of promise for his age.

Gone off with a Knee injury Holland Latvia ................... could this get any worse Holland 1-0 Latvia Bad news for Manchester United, real bad news. Daley Blind has gone down holding his knee after a tussle with Eduards Visnakovs, and judging by the way he is shaking his head while sitting on the pitch - he isn't going to be carrying on.

>:DThese injuries are just relentless. Last thing we needed was Daley missing 4-6 weeks.
