LVG has already said he's prepared to win ugly for this one, so I do actually take that as a good omen.

Technically we are sound, considering the rise in form of most of the players. The only thing we must be wary of is complacenncy as opined above, and I concour we retain/maintain the same team! GGMU!!! I don't think they will be complancent - Rooney is quoted before the Villa match as telling all players "It's no good if we beat Liverpool and then don't beat Aston Villa" I think they have the right mentality at the mo The ref is my main worry

The ref is my main worry Cuntenburg is destined to make at least one major clusterfeck, I just hope it won't be at our damage.

If he plays it like he played it when he last ref'd us, then we should be in for a relatively smooth running match. If he wants to be star of the show, then.....
I do think he's been told tho, cause there was a noticeable change in attitude last time.

This is what I meant, hopefully not for the sake of the show and us mere mortals! He's been unusually alright this last time, only God knows now if he can become consistent in this even if told by authorities.

I'm pretty sure he was told to tone it down by the assessors, and I don't remember any further stand out headlines for a while either. You have to hope he keeps a lid on himself and lets things flow. Might develop into a high octane affair and I fear for Fellaini.

Merson is having a mare here with inclusion of Shaw over either Blind or Kolarov, while Thompson's look more or less Ok-ish, perhaps Mata for Young and Herrera for Toure who's been shit recently.

That said, the only two I'd include from that City side are Aguero and Silva, maybe Zabaleta but I'm Ok with Valencia there.

Neither side is too bad to be fair, the left back position is a tough one. The funniest thing is that Thompson named more Liverpool players in a United/Liverpool 11 than City players in his United/City 11. Moron.

If you had asked me six weeks ago I would have said that City would be the biggest banker you’d ever see in your life but I don’t see that now. Man Utd are favourites. They’ve turned a corner. They are buying in to what the manager wants.
Wayne Rooney is now playing up front. How did we all know his best position is a striker but it takes a manager that has worked for a national team so long? Robin van Persie won’t start. I think he’s surplus to requirements. I’d be shocked if he’s there at the end of the season.
Louis van Gaal has got everybody confident and playing well while City’s confidence must be low, they’ve lost three in a row. You can’t just turn it on, like a tap.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1 (Sky Bet odds: 17/2)

Van Gaal said multiple times that Rooney was his best striker even when he was in midfield. He was sacrificing that for what he saw as better balance in midfield. How many times has he got to explain his decisions before bleeding Sky actually take notice?

LOL. Forget it, those scumbags have to appear to claw some "knowing" "credibility" back. Rodney Marsh is the one cunt who blows me away, what comes out of his mouth his truly astounding sometimes.
Quick paraphrase from a talkshit interview a month or so back: 'VG is like the man behind the curtain in the wizard of oz, he's bluffed, blagged and BS'd his way this far because of his reputation, and he's been found out' etc, etc, etc.

Rodney Marsh was always a cunt. Merson's right up there with him but he's less of a cunt..he's just thick as pigshit.
