so he can sit deep on chelsea's bench, or not even make their squad and play reserves and get loaned around, that worked so well for Ryo Myaichi Belgium, Bundesliga/Bundesliga 2 or Holland. Japanese players have always thrived in the bundesliga, look at Uchida and Kagawa. Honda has been underwhelming in Serie A. Yagamoto has been quiet good in all fairness at Inter but he started there. This player's 22 and he's just started playing senior football 2 years ago. If he wants to move then he should be looking for regular football and chelsea sure as hell ain't going to provide that

i would love this to be true if it keeps them away from de gea, would be better if they went and got Cech though (honestly that is the most practical choice, he would be still a great keeper i would imagine)

I assume they'd loan him somewhere immediately like they usually do, unless he turns Hazard or something in the first year, but more likely Schürrle.

Sign for £4m, loan him to the Bundesliga/Eredivisie for 2 years, hope he garners a decent reputation - sell for £15m.
Rinse and repeat.
It's Chelsea's way of playing the FFP rules. It's brilliant to be fair to them. They can afford to chuck enough shit at the wall in the hope that some sticks and they make a massive profit. Not the type of development plan any player should really sign up to but they'll get a decent wage in the mean time.

Melbourne Victory 0-1 Newcastle Jets
wow. just wow, how the hell did the victory lose to newcastle at home, well, tis football
Crowd: 19 277 (not too bad i guess)
Perth Glory 0-3 Sydney FC
feel bad for the fans and the players that weren't involved in the third party payments etc. Sydney on the other hand took the chance and got the win away, definitely puts them in a good position going in and they are very much alive in the title race. Perth Should have had one goal, assistant was blind
think its more a miracle that the glory didn't kill anyone (ok, mainly zadkovic didn't hack anyone)
