Can't say they didn't have the chance this window to do a 3 or 4 player defence / midfield rebuild, which would have almost guaranteed top 4 / pushing 3rd. Now you're looking at really struggling for a top 4 spot.

Exactly. Bruno has been waiting for us all summer, now if reports are true he's had enough and is pushing for a move to Spuds. Ben Yedder wants to leave and Sevilla dont have a problem letting him go. Apparently Monaco are in for him now. SMS seemingly wouldn't mind a move to us. Price is a bit steep but then again so is pogbas. Have we pushed as hard as we could have with Eriksen?
Any 2 of these 4 would improve us massively but once again we seem to leaving a job half done which benefits no one except the Glazers pockets. Short term thinking will be our downfall.

maybe Ben Yedder perhaps if we can offload lukaku off quickly enough. I wouldn't complain (yes, i think we need 2 AM's, especially if we're going to lineup the way i think we are).

My perfect summer 
Prefer Ben yedder to rashford or martial but as that ain't happening so it would be between martial and rashford who plays on the left or as striker. What I like about this line up is there's no Jones, young, Matic, Lingard, Andreas, Sanchez, Rojo, Bailly but we still have players like Mata, Dalot, James, Fred, Smalling and our youngsters to help fill any gaps. |

Could be a very busy day tomorrow. If Madrid is still interested in Pogba then I wonder if we've gave them a cut off date i.e. tomorrow or if the club would be stupid enough to allow it to happen until the Spanish window closes (2nd Sept) with no chance of signing a backup. |

Be very happy if that's true. If it is we definitely will need another striker. Apparently Monaco have put in a bid of 20m plus Rony lopes for Ben Yedder. If llorente comes then I'll probably slit my wrists. Well, maybe just one of them. I'll leave the other one until we sell Pogba and have nobody to replace him.
