He only has 1 year left on his contract and isn't exactly 1st choice at Bayern. I read a figure of £10mil this morning, if that's true then it's a fucking steal.

So the Manchester and Dusseldorf flights share the same baggage carousel at Palma De Mallorca airport.
Silly fucking cow.

I am actually all in for Sterling, although I know there is 1% chance of that happening. I don't think he is overrated, I think he is just young and that people are expecting way too much of him. He has an immense potential, and most of all, his profile is exactly what we need to add to our team. Now that teams defend deep against our possession-based football, we need dribblers and players able to operate in tight spaces and beat their man. If you give me the choice between Bale and Sterling considering every aspect of our game, I'd go for Sterling without hesitation. Good if we get Bale, but I really think Sterling's profile is what we need most. Depay is a great addition in that regard, but Sterling would be the icing on the cake in my books. I am not even enjoying stealing him from our rivals as such. Obviously that too would be a bonus. Schweinsteiger would be an excellent short-term addition. But at the risk of sounding greedy, we need more than Schweinsteiger to reach another level. A few years ago he would have been the best ever signing, but now I believe we need a second Herrera, another mobile, aggressive, energetic and composed CM. Schweinsteiger could operate next to Herrera but I believe he will mostly be used in that deep-lying position, where is positional play/passing/composure is a major strength now that he has lost much of his pace and dynamism. And if he keeps a good fitness level, he could easily have four good years, just like Carrick has shown and prove to be a great piece of business. I wonder what LVG has in mind for that RB position: personally I could see LVG trading Di Maria to Psg and getting Marquinhos back in some kind of deal. I am still convinced De Gea is leaving, although I haveno idea who is coming to replace him. Could our team look like that? Cech(?) Marquinhos/Valencia - Smalling/Jones/Mc Nair - Otamendi/Rojo/Blackett - Rojo/Shaw/Blind Schweinsteiger/Carrick/Blind Herrera/Schweinsteiger - Gundogan/Fellaini/Rooney Sterling (or ?)/Mata - Rooney/RVP/Wilson - Depay/Young I know it's far fetched, don't me wrong. Just trying to make sense of all those rumours we are seeing and how they could potentially benefit us.

I'll miss Falcao. I think he genuinely wants to be here. He looked so sad and disappointed when he got subbed last weekend. His performances haven't been all that good, but he has always put a shift in, and we can't ask for much more than that.

If he's willing to drop his wages, I think we might consider...put paying 250k a week for a 5 goals a season striker is crazy . Just didn't work out for him this season.

I feel bad for him too, if he ever gets back to where he was some club is going to be running about dancing around with their pants round their ankles.
