Again again we make world beaters out of very ordinary sides. Wolves was never an easy one for us at the best of times. There was bright signs during the first half against Burnley of a functioning attack but we still let up numerous chances to them.
Couldn't tell you any Wolvews players from one end the team to the other cuz I don't watch them much but heck they're only 6 points off us in the table.
Defence needs to stay switched on. Attack will take care of itself.

Shambolical in the extreme. No cohesion from back to front. Passing of the ball behind the target player never works. Centering the ball into the goal area where only the Tallest basket ball player would have a chance to head it. TRAINING GROUND STUFF.
It looked like the players were not even sure what the plan was! Rangnick will not last long.
Very happy for Phil Jones, played well.

They are still working / training in covid bubbles of 6 apparently, so until they can work on patterns and systems of play as a team rangnick is stuck with Ole ball and the Ole ball mindset.
What he needs is a full clear-out of players and coaches and get his own staff in

Plus you have to factor in just how many of these players can actually physically and mentally play high pressing football. I would imagine that's the biggest obstacle Rangnicks got atm. You can't really expect players who've never done a high pressing system to do it overnight and in the middle of a season.
It's already coming out about the level of rancour and division in that squad. Bumpy times and it doesn't help that Ralf is only temporary and we have some genuine overpaid (not they're fault) shithouse talentless wankers at the club

Something simple as tracking back after you lose the ball has nothing to do with a high press.
That's a basic of any team. And we don't do it.
