also with only extra time to be played, no way they abandon the match, their may be a fine to FAM but nothing more surely, anything else would be harsh. Especially given their is an athletic track around the stadium

Tajikistan 0-3 Australia
Tajikistan were really good i thought, a bit rusty but they basically played a lot like we do, they actually got the better of us physically, though technically we were better and we had the large portion of possession etc (was 62-38, as opposed to the bangladesh game were it was like 85-15), but despite that the tajiki's had shots on goal, good counters etc, i mean we only scored after the 60th minute. First half was frustrating to watch, Davidson was pretty bad at left back, mooy wasn't great and luongo needs to play centrally, both mooy and luongo anonymous for large parts of the game. But when Oar came on we were great. McKay, great roar player, shouldn't be a starting socceroo, good utility player for the bench at best.
28 to 6 shots also, but the fact is 4 out of their 6 were pretty good.
Malaysia 1-2 Saudi Arabia
Malaysia barely lost to Saudi after leading i see, massive improvement there and good showing, saudi aren't a joke, in all honesty they should be a team that should push for World cup qualification every tournament but always seem to underachieve, still, its progress, nothing to be ashamed of, though it does mean that your world cup dreams are over basically
Guam 0-0 Oman
Guam are proving to be a pain, they might sneak in for the 2nd round also
Philippines 1-5 Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan are a powerhouse, were going to be way too good, thought the Philippines would have put up some sort of challenge though

All over the local papers today. Humiliation , Mutilation , Disgrace... all sorts of adjectives used. I think our coach has also tendered his resignation. Not his fault though. As I have mentioned countless times to you, it's the interference from the upper/higher management that resulted this farce. yeah i don't think the manager is going to make a difference until upper and higher management completely changes

Fekir is pretty good, probably the 2nd best player at Lyon after Lacazette

You realized that our Malaysian senior side drew with Bangladesh 0-0 last week right in a friendly? We have not won a game for a long long long time now. That's why we are ranked 168 now. Can we defeat the worst ranked team? Madagascar I think... I have my doubts. they have some players in the french leagues so maybe not them and you drew with Bangladesh, how, they didn't even bother trying to play, they played a 10-1-0 formation i kid you not anyway did anyone react, i mean at the end of the day its still a 10-0 thumping, just looking through it does not look pretty and the national team coach could resign (which means nothing unless there is changes from the top) i still think football needs to be able to run seperately from government intervention, because then they just put their cronies in, after FAM gets people seperate from the government, who are actually interested about furthering the game domestically and the national team, then and only then you can find success

Who actually took the freekick? Love the technique. Jake Forster-Caskey players for Brighton, we should buy him, get him in for set pieces

one improvement for depay, needs to stop delaying so much, he spends a lot of time on the ball and sometimes it messes up our play, think that will be sorted out with time though and adjusting, i'm pretty certain he'll be a success

we've spent big on not even that good players how many world class players are in the squad in all honesty. De Gea, Rooney on his day, and Mata 3 world class players, given we've spent like 250 mill in the last few seasons is mind boggling What about Bastian. I would even argue carrick is aswell. Then you have morgan who is on his way aswell as Memphis, Shaw, and if he can keep on improving Smalling. We have bought well this summer and last I would say bar Falcao and Di Maria. I still think this has been a great summer but having said that we can only judge it come november/december time how successfull it has or not been. LVG see's the palyers everyday training he most see something in the young lads that he let Adnan go. Im thinking that Martial replaces Hernandez and one of the mentioned youngsters will take Adnans. Bastian ain't anymore, Carrick at his best barely was world class, now at 33 he really isn't, Schniederlin is on his way but isn't a world class player, just a really good midfielder. Memphis is only 21, still a good 2 years away, i'm assuming Martial is about the same (2-3 years away). Smalling has a good chance at proving he is world class, but isn't there yet either, Rojo is good-great. Shaw is improving but he scares me in a similar way to Evra (forgets to track back sometimes, he's young so its forgivable) don't want to label Darmian our best defender but he really has been thus far. I think i'm more worried about who helps Rooney as a 2nd goalscorer, Rooney can only score so much, and we lack some world class players and depth up front i think if we can remain healthy we can finish 2nd or 3rd and maybe a quarter or semi in the CL, if we have injuries then we're screwed, 4th-6th in the league, round of 16 exit at best, which is fair to say, is an abject failure

Malaysia playing UAE later . Did you watch the Japan match Spens? Jap had like 90% possession. They just kept passing the ball around the penalty box. Cambodia defense were also well disciplined. i did, much like how Australia played, it looked quiet similar, just Cambodia looked more professional in comparison to Bangladesh who were barely amatuer in saying that Japan should have had way more goals, they were flat in the final 3rd, after the first 2 goals they were happy though, hard to play when a team like Cambodia doesn't come to play and are only their to park the bus, but still should have been at least 6-0 to Japan.

i take that back, Malaysia losing 10-0 is a damn disgrace
Singapore did very well though but Malaysia, what the hell happened
i expected a loss, but something more like 3-0 or 4-1, not 10-0
the only team that lost by more then that is Bhutan who lost 15-0 to Qatar
this is reminding me of when Australia was in Oceania

oh and the fact that we may have not been arsed to pay an extra 10 million to get Reus in, who would be the best player in this squad, is even worse
we have gotten no replacement for Di Maria, have a 19 year old kid to replace Falcao, RVP and Hernandez
we have at least done something in terms of midfield, defensively we should be solid (Smalling and Rojo, i never want to see Blind at CB ever in my life again, that is an abomination, i think i rather see Fellaini given a go at CB, it couldn't be worse)

Australia 5-0 Bangladesh
Perth getting their first game in a decade, and frankly, we were great for the first 30 where we scored 4 goals in the first 30, they parked the bus for the whole game but this should have been a 15-0 game for us, we dominated them so badly, just that we did sweet fuck all with it, we literally had 80 percent posession, Not even joking even Malaysia or Singapore would have thumped them 3-0 easily, actually given the u23 malaysian team beat them, the malaysian team would thump them by more. Bangladesh were so bad even the commentators made a point of it, they will not pick up a point, i really think there is a chance they won't, the scoreline flattered them very much, on top of that there was absolutely no conditioning from them, their players were dropping like fly's over nothing, so we can assume the coaching was just awful as was the fitness, which was funny because we got called for all the fouls because apparently its a crime to be bigger than your opponent (the spiranovic fouls were legit, idiot had his hand resting on the back of the bangladeshi player)
South Korea 8-0 Laos
damn, Uli has them on fire, they've been amazing since the asian cup, can see them not dropping a single point, they look like the most dangerous team in asia
Japan 3-0 Cambodia
Japan are in trouble, a 3-0 win is really bad against a team like Cambodia, that should have been at least 6-0. Saitama does look amazing with the full house, Haliladozovic had a freaking weird formation, Honda further up front that Kagawa, Muto starting besides being all sorts of shit in the east asian cup and kagawa kinda deep, they've actually gotten worse since the asian cup.
Turkeministan 1-1 Iran
Iran had a ridiculously bad game, its so sad at the moment Guam have 2 wins from 2 at the moment (thank you india for being a damn disgrace, no seriously, how the hell did you manage to lose to guam) Iran couldn't beat a team that Guam beat, how the hell did they manage that. I can imagine in Tehran they will not be happy
