he kinda has to give our youngsters a chance because we've sold everyone else i think its clear he got rid of a lot of fringe players for that reason, Lingard and Wilson, Perreira etc will all feature a lot i think, especially in the cups

MANCHESTER UNITED: B- Players in: Memphis Depay (PSV Eindhoven), Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton), Matteo Darmian (Torino), Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich), Sergio Romero (Sampdoria), Anthony Martial (Monaco), Regan Poole (Newport County) Players out: Angel Di Maria (PSG), Nani (Fenerbahce), Robin van Persie (Fenerbahce), Javier Hernandez (Bayer Leverkusen), Rafael Da Silva (Lyon), Angelo Henriquez (Dinamo Zagreb), Reece James (Wigan, £1m), Saidy Janko (Celtic), Tom Cleverley (Everton), Ben Amos (Bolton), Anders Lindegaard (West Brom), Tom Thorpe (Rotherham), Will Keane (Preston, Loan), Ben Pearson (Barnsley, Loan), Joe Rothwell (Barnsley, Loan), Tyler Blackett (Celtic, Loan), Adnan Januzaj (Borussia Dortmund, Loan), Kieran O'Hara (Morecambe, Loan) MERSE SAYS: I don't mind Memphis Depay, but I think he will be a little bit hit-and-miss at first and will need time to settle in. I feel for Anthony Martial as well. He was playing for 5,000 people at Monaco on top of a car park and now he is going to be playing in front of 70,000 at Old Trafford. That's a big ask for the lad. They have let a lot of strikers go and I think they will be left short after not getting a top-drawer centre-forward in. Money talks and this club has money to get one. And you have to wonder if David De Gea wants to be there. I'll give them a B- because they didn't get what they should have. Arsenal got a straight B lol www.skysports.com/football/news/15205/9975608/paul-mersons-transfer-window-grades-premier-league-business-ratedmerson really has it in for us doesn't he mind you i actually agree with a B- but above arsenal, arsenal deserve a solid D for being complete idiots and not signing an outfielder, they would have gotten an F if it wasn't for cech

yeah not too happy also in all honesty.
nothing really done the proper united way, yes, some of the players needed to go, but the lack of blooding from LVG is concerning (i.e. Januzaj should have featured this season) and the overpay of Martial, we never, ever overpaid for a kid to such an extent, usually we try to grow that talent, recently in terms of attackers we haven't done anything
either way i can't see LVG staying at the club for more than 2 seasons, thats not to say he should be sacked, i think he keeps his job, i think he just leaves on his own right. we might win the league next season, or even fluke it out this season, but even he is going to come to a stage where we won't be bothered any more

wait, hearing we didn't match a 60 million requirement for MARCO FUCKING REUS
please tell me this some journo bullshit otherwise deadwood can go fuck right off. 60 mill for Reus is fair value, not like we don't have the money to spend it
and he's the replacement for Di Maria we need that would have helped us challenge, lets face it, this squad is barely going to get us to about 4th, nevermind winning the league

since everyone seems to be using fifa and fm to scout their players, why not buy Youri Tielemans now (comes in January i guess)
he has ridiculous potential in both and currently players for Anderlecht
oh and Balanta because he's basically the god of football manager
and beradi, because somehow the italian teams have missed out on him

Now for the drama
Socceroos are now not doing anything media related as they aren't getting paid for it, which only is furthering the FFA-PFA feud thats going on right now (yeah De Bohun needs to be sacked for being an idiot, that guy has no idea)
Anyway this feud is very much public now, not good for football in australia
also at the state level, Football Queensland has cancelled the last round of the NPL Qld, which was a championship deciding round with Brisbane Strikers and Moreton Bay both on 49 points after 22 games, with Moreton Bay having the superior goal difference (by 2 goals). So Moreton Bay wins the NPL Qld, and will now represent Queensland in the national NPL competition. Needless to say, the strikers are livid.
These were to be the last round fixtures (well, the ones that matter in terms of positions)
South West Queensland Thunder v Moreton Bay United Brisbane Strikers v Northern Fury
Most likely Moreton bay would have thumped the Thunder by more than 5, with the Strikers winning, but not by that much. So Moreton Bay most likely would have won, but they should have still played the fixtures
someone suggested that their is a one match playoff hosted by Moreton Bay, and then let that sort things out, i honestly think that may be the best idea, it at least gives the strikers a chance if they win by more than 2 goals.

Rockdale did incredibly well, as did Palm Beach for most of the game at least (faded towards the end) The Metrostars keeper cost them with one of the biggest howlers i have ever seen at any level Hume City were far too good for Olympic, another class really

Regan Poole, anyone know anything about him? i assume he will be with the U19's or something like that
anyway only 1 purchase is disappointing, thought we needed another striker, but at least glad that wilson isn't out on loan

James Troisi chasing that money, he has signed with Al-Itthiad (better than the UAE and Qatar, rubbish move still, he should be in europe, more than good enough) some of the top clubs in Saudi are quality (i.e. Al Itthiad, Al-Hilal etc) but the middle and bottom clubs are terrible
Robbie Kruse has been loaned out to Stuttgart with an option to buy, good move there
and in a-league news, City have signed Thomas Sorensen, the 40 year old former danish international keeper, not going to lie, if he is coming in as a keeper coach and not taking up too much space, good move, but he shouldn't be starting over Tando Velaphi, who actually has looked really good for the first time in ages, if i'm Tando i would want out and get maybe a move to the Nix, they really need a starting keeper and Ernie Merrick, who brought him in for the victory in 2011, could have him starting in wellington this season
