the Malaysian national team kit  and seriously, 699 pounds, sponsoring footballers, what is this, they're footballers, not like they need to be sponsored like some worldvision children, in fact most of them could sponsor some fans easily anyway their home kit looks brilliant, should never have changed it to red in the first place

Scweingsteiger isn't a ball winner like schniederlin, same with herrera, Schniederlin or Fellaini need to play as that ball winner, then you have Schweingsteiger as that scholes or Pirlo, who can boss games
it wasn't a bad game honestly going forward, think we failed to take our chances but we had the movement going forward, defensively though it wasn't good
at least depay got a goal against his old club but its a game we should have won given the balance of play, but if we are to lose a game, may as well its now

Turnbull wins 54-44 against Abbott, which makes him the new liberal party leader and subsequently he will be sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Australia
Julie Bishop is now the new Deputy Prime Minister, as she beat Kevin Andrews 70-30
a huge swing towards a more centralish government, away from the far right.

oh boy, here we go
a couple hours ago it broke that the liberal party is having a spill motion
so, in the next hour or so, Australia could have a new prime minister, the that would make it 5 PM's in the last 5 years, we are a beacon of stability i tell you (mind you, Abbott is a fuckwit so Turnbull isn't worse)
shall be interesting though

Could join Sven's team. Guangzhou i think. The Indian league as well? Probably JDT if they can afford him. Guangzhou R&F? they have full foreigners now (the full 4+1) and Sven left them Indian League is an option, though thats only 3 months in a year, he would certainly get a lot of money their and be the highest profile player who is under the age of 35. JDT seem intent on bringing in a superstar striker, he could go there if they can compete with the wages he would get in the middle east

don't think we gave kiko the chances he deserved, because he was class then, i still remember the day he ripped Boro a new one (this was when they were still in the prem) When did he ripped Boro apart? We gave him enough chances and opportunities to shine. Just didn't take it. like when he was 18 and we didn't give him a lot of chances at the club, we basically just loaned him out to a million and one clubs before selling him

Adebayor been released by Spurs. Wonder which Turkish, Qatari, U.A.E or Greek side he'll end up at. The Greeks won't pay him, so i'm going to say Turkey (not one of the Instanbul giants either) Qatar (match made in heaven) U.A.E China (they have money, but surely the top teams wouldn't want him, they love skilled brazilians) MLS (the MLS teams surely aren't that stupid but they love their old players) i really hope villa aren't that stupid to bring him in though. Seems like a toxic player

what a fantastic goal, on debut also against liverpool, pressure what pressure, he was supremely cool and composed in that movement and made skertel look foolish now i know why we paid the money for him, if he keeps this up he will be that world class player we need Let's not get carried away. Remember Kiko macheda against Villa a couple of years ago? Hopefully the pressure and expectations does not get the best out of him. A good start nonetheless. don't think we gave kiko the chances he deserved, because he was class then, i still remember the day he ripped Boro a new one (this was when they were still in the prem)

In several state league finals
NPL QLD:
Moreton Bay Jets 2-1 Brisbane Strikers
Moreton Bay proving they were the best in a tightly fought contest, with Jordan Farina scoring at the death to lead Jets to the double
NPL NSW:
Bonnyrigg White Eagles 2-0 Blacktown City FC
Some of those blacktown city players, namely Danny Choi and Patrick Antlemi need to be looked at for the a-league. But congrats to the White Eagles for a result that i think is a bit of an upset
South Melbourne FC 1-3 Bentleigh Greens (ET)
Bentleigh Greens get through in extra time to take out the final, they're a fantastic squad, South Melbourne though, they've improved immensely over the last 12 months, they're a force to be reckoned with again. They're not far off an a-league team, hopefully they get a star player (Georgios Samaras is perfect for them)
also in more state league news, Lucas Neill, the former australian national team captain and australian footballing legend is expected to sign for Sydney Hakoah in the next few days

This seemed more about getting playing time than money
200k is about fair value for de gea's wages, he would have been paid more had he gone to Madrid most likely, he is a top 3 keeper in the world and you expect to pay that kind of money for someone that good

great stuff, hopefully now De Gea is in it, and we have him for good, i really hope Real Madrid just don't bother now and are content with what they have in terms of keepers (Keylor Navas, Kiko Casilla, i mean come on thats a fantastic rotation)

yeah berba as a 4th striker, we could do worse, he'd basically just be a guy we can chuck on in league cup and fa cup games and maybe some CL games against lower end opposition
nothing really more then that
