Not something you'd expect to see.. True. Stan is 100% right. I hate it when our enemy gives us advice!!!!!!!!

This is really disappointing. This is NOT Nan United!! We can't continue to applaude this game strategy. United were exciting to watch, win or lose, now they are Boring. I have to agree with Scholes. This team would not have won anything in the past. One shot on target in 90+ minutes is simply not acceptable. They have to change otherwise they will lose their charisma.

In some things, not others; Rooney's goal scoring record is better, he's a lot more physical and direct, gives presence and energy, and slightly quicker. Not as intelligent positioning and sly passing wise, but still not bad. Swings and roundabouts, both could do a slightly different job in that role. Recent goal scoring record and assists strongly favours Mata. Don't misunderstand me, Rooney is a legend but at the present time he is not living up to his image. If we want what's best for MU, then Mata is the obvious choice.

Mata is a better # 10, at least now. He should be taking that position rather than Rooney.

Our best player for the season so far is Mata. I don't knoow what LVG has against him. He keeps substituting him or exclude him completely as he did in Moscow. I believe our best formation (with what we have now) is De Gea, Rojo, Blind, Smalling, Valencia (better attacking option than Darmian, although the latter is the better right back), Schneiderlin, Fellaini (great ball control and composure), Herrera, Mata, Young and Marital. Rooney should be benched for a while. The philosophy of LVG got him booted from Bayern as his tactics were deemed too slow for the liking of the board. Love him or hate him, he gets resuls. The fast-flowing United of the past is gone for now, maybe until Giggs becomes our number ome. I still do not think that we will win the league this season, Man City (****) are too strong. We will finish second, ahead of the gunners, but next year, with a couple of additions, we should have no excuses.

How would you feel about Berahino and Mane to join Martial, Memphis and Rooney in a new look front line combination. Gomez from Swansea is better than both! He destroyed owr defence.

Yeah if we don't bring another attacker in with all those going out it'll be ridiculous. I think our worries will be eased tomorrow though, I'm sure there will be at least 1 more signing. Attachments:

One thing I noticed, Romero, our number 1 goalkeeper, is very good indeed. He is very "cool" and has a lot of self confidence. I see no problem of keeping him as number 1 even if de Gea leaves. What we need is a striker, and that's not saying much. I do hope that we sign one before the transfer deadline, although things are not promising.

Heard from sauces Neymar's almost done Too bad about Valdes if he's leaving, I thought he was a great signing up until the point he apparently refused to play with the kids. Well done or medium rare?

He became a personal favourite of mine when he scored that cheeky back heel against Italy in the 2006 or was it 2002? World cup. He has an absolutely fantastic scoring record but I wouldn't be too keen on having him here myself. He must be about 98 years of age now and he has more baggage than a Louis Vuitton store. Never far from controversy i could see him spending more time in the stands than on the pitch. Add to the fact he's never played in the PL I think we'd be better looking elsewhere. At least he's a proven goal scorer, something we do not have. I believe if we can get him, we should, otherwise... we're sc***ed.

The Sun now reporting an exclusive; we're in for Neymar! I should expect it by now, but Christ it's getting boring. This will only happen when hell freezes over... Come on guys, Chrisiano Ronaldo is a distant maybe, Neymar is a definite no no no. I have a gut feeling that a marquee signing is on the way. My gut feelings are usually wrong, here's hoping!

Do you agree that Ibrahimovic would be a great signing albeit for the time being. Rumour has it that PSG are willing to part company with him. He ia a talent, no doubt about it, but he's also 34 years old!
