An attack minded manager would be a start. We've employed two managers who have played some of the most dull, drab football I've ever witnessed. Agree ........ So it can't be José ... Why not? Last season Chelsea scored 73 goals and conceded 32. In 2012, Real Madrid scored 103. If this isn't attack minded, what is?

That was abyssal... What can I say. I absolutely hated every minute of this game. Both teams were garbage but we were the stinking type! If Man U don't get rid of LVG now, then it's goodbye top 4. There is no way we will make it with him at the helm. Please MU board... Get rid of LVG. Get Jose for God's sake. No need to act so almighty, just swallow your pride and let bygone be bygone. We may still salvage 4th spot.

The problem we have is scoring goals. Not many other options available on the market.

He definetly is an option. He will give us a few goals, and he is a mean SOB. He will fight for every ball. Maybe be worth it for a few months!

I heard LVG's post match interview. This guy lives in a different planet. If he truely believes that we played well anytime during yesterday's game, he must be crazy. If he believes that this form might win the league, then he needs to be committed. We were garbage. We should have lost had it not been for de Gea. Let us be honest with ourselves just for once!

Pep is still the Glazer 'A' plan by all accounts. Can we beat City for his signature?

Currently watching the game at Anfield... Worrying thought! If they play this way against us next Sunday, we will be screwed.

I like Giggs but I don't think he is ready yet. Mourinho will do the job and will attract players, but his disloyalty to Academy players makes him one for the short term. I believe that he will give us a better chance of a top four finish.
In reality, the best option is to convince Alex Ferguson to act as interim manager till the end of the season, then get Guardiola. Wishful thinking!

I do not deny that LVG has pedigree, I would be stupid to think otherwise, yet we have to know that something is not right. He was given more money to spend than all other premier league managers, and he bought who he thought was good for the team, and he got rid of many others. What's the verdict after two years? A big fat zero. He has a lower win percentage than poor David Moyes. Do you consider that satisfactory? His game plan is "no lose" then "try to win". Is this the MU way? Mourinho has pedigree as well and was sacked by Chelsea although he won the premiership last season. Why? is he a bad manager now? I don't think so. It's because he wasn't in sync with the players. This is the same problem we have... No matter what you read, see or hear, the players are not playing their game. That's why I believe LVG must go. Maybe, a big maybe, with another manager, things can be turned around.

Why can't we be like Real Madrid. They thought Benitez was shit (which he is) and they sacked him without further ado. We have to be decisive. 4th place is slipping ayay very fast, and if we draw or lose against Liverpool, then we are really screwed.

Why not try to get Townsend from Spurs? He is clearly sidelined and he is an England international. I am sure he will jump at the suggestion.

"The board don't want to change manager now (since we will most probably get a new one in the summer) in order to maximize our top-4 chances". I understand the reasoning, but they're fools to think we will reach top-4 under LVG with that type of football. Right now, we're losing support, we're losing sponsors, we're losing points, we are losing reputation, potential future transfers, and most of all we're losing our own players and identity. It's about high time we stopped this: Giggs couldn't do much worse at this point, and if he fails to reach the top-4 (which LVG won't get either anyway) at least he will lift the spirit and bring some positivity. I think LVG must go. Let Giggs take charge, bring back Phelan and Meulensteen to assist him and see how it goes until the summer. They can't do much wrong, and I am sure it will give everyone a boost. Or Get in Mourinho and you know he will make us competitive, and maybe he could even reach a good chemistry with the squad and stay on for longer than 2 years. We're losing everything you said, but more importantly, we already lost the fear factor.
