Doesn't sound realistic that Verratti to United thing. Type of player is exactly what we need, could be a bit stronger and more dangerous in front of goal but overall a very good no.8

yes 100%, he is our manager now and derserves full backing until he proves to be doing things wrong.
Surely there are some topics where he will be in the focus, especially youth development. I still expect those with real talent like Tuanzabe to break through but I also expect him not to have such a small squad and offer less chances for youth. Honestly, with all the praise LVG receives for his trust in youth, it was a selfmade problem as well due to his transfer dealings. I think both is required a bigger squad with more quality senior players but also an eye for youth. Far too early to judge him of course. Hope it turns out the way we want it and the likes of Rashford and Fosu-Mensah get plenty of game time this season.

played that occassionally for Villareal. Don't remember where I read that. Yes, Mou told he is a CB, that is why I said he might end up there, despite not being initially bought for that spot. Could imagine Darmian suits Mou from style of play but maybe not physically.
There is much nonsense as usual on the web. Some, like loaning out Shaw, are very strange. Bailly as RB seems less strange tbh.

It's not about buying a 22- year old who already played senior football, it's about bringing through our own academy products. The same with Martial, a very good signing but bringing through Rashford, Tuanzebe and others is a diffrent case. Mou has always bought young player like Robben etc. but he was sure they were up to it after playing their first senior football elsewhere. So his ability to bring through talents is not approved on the transfer market.
I still believe Bailly has the potential to turn out a good deal and back Jose's decision to bring him to OT.

I'd still fancy Stones. I stopped caring about fees some time ago since it is the Glazers pocket now. Better they pay for players then their own shopping mall's in the US. 80m still sound ridiculous for a young defender with half a good season despite very bif potential.
Bailly could well end up a Ivanovic like, defensive-first thinking, RB? Hope not but Mou parking his bus could still happen...
