I think he is better off at a smaller club right now, doesn't look ready for the prem yet but certainly has the potential. Needs to play regularly at this age.

Mou needs him for a strong start to the season Been quite otherwise for a few days. Papers seem to have enough to write thanks to the euros. No new names for 2 days.

That Mkhitaryan story seems more than just a media thing. Dortmund will be hard to convince but nowadays agents power gets bigger and bigger. Could See that happen but would say far from likely until today.
We wanted a CB and got Bailly. We want a ST and Ibra looks likely unless Bayern gets his head turned as it seems. We want a RW and maybe he is the Solution. Then a CM is left on the agenda.

for several season in a row we face top teams away in the second half of the season. Leicester, Arsenal, Spurs, Shitty, West Ham, Soton. Top 6 teams all first home then away. Don't like that

Thought exactly the opposite based on todays performance. Nit anywhere near as good as last game and with the ball poor. He is a fantastic ball winner but that's not enough for me to sign him.

AM is a possibility for Mkhitrayan. I agree with your opinion re not enough quality from the bench, unless Depay starts to click. So I am not oppossed to a Mane signing but not the main one and I don't think we are going to sign 2 wingers?! Mik and Mane doesn't sound too bad but doesn't sound world-class either. Rather one Griezmann iso Mik & Mane but it is not the time to think big I guess for United.

In the kind of form he had last season he'd suit any team but espescially his work rate will suit Mourinho's thinking of a wide player.
We desperately need a right winger and I hardly see anyone except for Griezmann or Bale whom both are very unlikely to happen. Maybe Mkhitaryan is the best option for us. Don't want Willian. Mahrez doesn't seem on our list. Like him as a player. Don't know how he would work out in a totally different setup. Counter attacking leicester or a United that wants to dominate games. Would mean less space for him. Still Mahrez has, like Mkhitaryan, some fantastics season stats in goals and assists. Mané is not one of my favorites, can't really say why, just a feeling he's not right. Overlooking the Nani rumour I guess that are all the names and Mkhitaryan could be the best bet. Difficult descision but > 30m surely helps taking that risk in todyas market where a Son moved to Spurs for 30m and that before the recent TV money rise.

Watzke, CEO of BVB, said today they rather let him leave on a free next summer than allow him to go now. Dortmund desperate to not let another star leave this window.

I don't know. He has had a fantastic season but it took him years to get to that level. I think he needs a certain environment und needs to feel 100% backing from the manager. Tuchel provided that. Have doubts he could do the same at a new club, especially at a club of the size of United and under Mou. On the other hand his work rate will suit Mou and right wing options are very rare atm.

TRANSFER RUMOUR: UNITED TRACKING BOCA JUNIORS DEFENDER? Manchester United are reportedly tracking Boca Juniors left back Frank Fabra. That's According to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, who states that Manchester United are showing an interest in Boca Juniors ace Frank Fabra - but so are Chelsea Football Club. New manager Jose Mourinho made his first signing of the summer by landing centre back Eric Bailly from Villarreal last week, and now he'll be looking to turn his attentions elsewhere. The left back has starred for Colombia at Copa America this summer, scoring against Costa Rica over the weekend - which appears to have been the trigger for speculation surrounding his future at Boca Juniors. #MUFC

Since our midfield problem is still not solved, I have compared rumoured candidates. Important note is that Verratti was much injured and therefore had fewer games. Niguez has completed nearly half of his games on the wing, which has to be considered looking at his passing stats.
