Mourinho; "we played like it was a friendly" "they played like it was a champions league final".
Damning indictment of his own team right there

Nothing new to be fair that we can take from our performance tonight that we've not already seen at other points this season so far. Lets not get fooled (again) by either the scoreline or our late onslaught. Only genuinely troubled Fenerbahce once or twice while it was still a contest. They could have punished us on the counter further as we continued to push forward.
Think it's just guess work with us, with the talent, names and some hidden x factor or unknown that none of us have seen yet, we're just hoping that something sticks.
In the same week our cross town rivals take apart barca we're comfortably taken care of by fenerbahce. Where's it all going wrong

So we did everything we could do to win?? right ok can accept that
But lets not get fooled here, this performance is by no means an indicator of our regular performance level even if we only played half as well today. that's why the fuck up of a result is what is the worrying problem. Because a win here would hardly compensate for our ineptitude against City Watford Chelsea? Let alone a draw
Thats the lost ground and maybe more that we simply have to make up on when i commented on here post chelsea last sunday.
I don't maybe some people are happy with it
But I couldn't count even on 1 hand the number of performances like this in all comps bearing in mind the strong line ups we've gone with.
Not as if we can say we're certain of going out and playing as well again next week like or anything???
Anyway teams are entitled to sit park the bus and soak up pressure and take whatever look comes with it. Not as if our keeper has never been a motm.
8th place 8 points behind and an inferior goal difference, not good enough (not in the league at least)

1 of those days, oh wait 2 of those days, 3? Anyway we're supposed to be back up at the top competing again and we're showing no signs of it so far. Many works in progress going on in this league, ours is not exception. We knew the score after our "result" and "performance" against.
This is what was supposed to change under the new set up that we could blow away the poor teams and do the best we can and avoid defeat against the bigger side. We're not achieving either I'm afraid

look usual post match crap. enough of it. it starts now and only a quick glance at the fixture list will show time for this shit is over. its the fixtures its the referees its everything www.manutd.com/en/Fixtures-And-Results/United-Fixtures-And-Results.aspx?pageNo=2No reason why we shouldn't be top of the tree on christmas day otherwise serious questions will have to be asked. only problem is the europa league and nobody frankly cares about it.

Happy with the point, could be worse. Just need to cut out the silly results like Stoke at home then this would be all the more impressive. At least we know we're capable now under the new regime in our rivals. Especially after the disaster that was the derby.
We should know what to do (and what not to do) against City next week with Chelsea away beforehand. They (chelsea) still haven't got any momentum going and look to be less of a unit. Of the 2 away to Liverpool and Chelsea I would have said Chelsea look the most winnable.
Another intriguing tactical match awaits from Jose and indeed Conte
