Some of our rivals are going to drop points today.
At least 2 of them anyway.
We win and results go our way elswhere we are up to 3rd

Great. An Unai Emery trained opponent. Just what we need. Villareal anyone???
Well on current evidence this is what we can expect. I'll be surprised if at the very least he hasn't tightened these up at the back
Team should pick itself unless for an injury or ETH wants to rotate. I'd start Gnarcho for what it's worth. He's exactly what we will need against these
Can't be bothered explaining again and again. Check our previous performances and threads for reference.

Benfica just won by 5 clear goals to take top spot over PSG in their European group
The inspiration to United now is do not stop believing and anything is possible

I like what you did there
Anyway yes. No big tactical analysis needed for this one. Another ideal test for our age old failings. Case of here we go again
Saw these the weekend and their play doesn't change much and that was against a team of the calibre of Real Betis, Not Madrid or Barca or any of these. So we should know what to expect
Betis did go on to crack them 2-0 and it was sweet to look at, I was envisaging it being us at the time.
But we can't kid ourselves for this one

Well this can't be anymore than most people would have wanted This really is the "put up or shut up" team selection and level of opponent we've wanted

I'd go with Ronaldo and Rashford from the start. Attack is where we a struggling.
Provided not every attack is an attempt to try and get Ronaldo a goal. Just let it be
Defence and midfield should nearly pick itself

A couple of 15 minute spurts isn't going to be good enough for this one.
West Ham would be equipped enough to come here and get a draw off us.
They don't have to come here and attack us. Moyes will set up his bus and it's up to us to break it down

Funny video but highly accurate in it's analysis.
Gnarcho performance which I praised in the shoutbox. He moved some of their players around a bit which is unusual for us. Not necessarily about end product, just created a bit of chaos which is exactly what we are missing to disrup these sides
Our first 15 minutes, it was blistering as usual but nothing came of it. Then everything gets hopeful. Hopeful shots, hopeful tricks, hopeful crosses and somehow we got a goal from it thank fuck. We don't even score from corners
The end between period continued, Rashford brought a bit of energy to it and got the goal. And amazing last 15 minutes with Ronaldo scoring at last
Needless to say, it's the bit in the middle of the game that continues to worry me. Everything we want is there in the first and last 15 minutes with obviously better finishing
