Yep, I want to see a carbon copy of Yesterday's display. We've not quite turned Old Trafford back into a fortress yet but since losing on the opening day we've played 6 games at home, winning 5 and drawing 1, which happened to be against the best side in the league so we are well on our way to doing so.

Would love to see more of Mata and Herrera playing together again.

It really is a lot harder for opposition managers to know what tactics to play against us now. Last season they knew if they attack us even at home they have a lot better chance of getting something out of the game than if they sat back. This season we are a better team. Any team that comes to OT now and sits back like Hull did yesterday will suffer. Give players like Carrick time on the ball and the opposition will be punished but push up and press our CM then the whole game changes. Everything depends on what tactics stoke choose to play because even though we seem to be getting there we are still not playing as a team.

Should we play with James Wilson this time round?

It will take some time for that same old fear factor to return to Old Trafford after what happened last season under Moyes, where our own players looked scared of the opposition. Van Gaal's approach so far has been quite good. He has looked to demolish the weaker sides and I feel, he'll approach Stoke with the same game style that he used against Hull City.

Hull were pretty woeful, but the movement and understanding between United on the ball was as good as it's been in years. Players were constantly changing positions in the knowledge that someone was going to cover. The way we rotated and still maintained a good shape showed about as good a teamwork as you'll find. It was great to watch.

Against Hull we were great, just what we need to show today. There's certainly progress but we're not quite there, because Hull weren't much of a test. See how it goes today, I'm hoping for both Mata and Herrera to start and maybe Falcao can work some magic

Stoke will definitely cause more problems than Hull did at the weekend, the few times I've watched them this season they've been very good on the counter. But they're missing Victor Moses who was a big part of that.
The shape of Smalling, Rojo and Carrick when we've got the ball will still be the most important thing though.

Great to see Wilson getting a start but Rooney is out of the squad. Will Keane makes the bench.

Picked up a knock by sliding into some advertising hoarding. LVG also said Wilson would've started Saturday but he was ill.
