Me, I still use an Abacus with half the Beads Missing. To test my arithmetic I put my hands in my pockets and counted my fingers and came out with 11.
( Only kidding of course except for the Gorgeous Wife part )

For the human thing you just drag one of the square icons into the centre, it's not trying to sell anything.
Never get why we need those things but dragging an icon is better than wobbly gibberish.

Hi.
I haven't been anywhere exotic in my absence, I've just been extremely busy and I've had a lot on my mind. I'm sure you'll all get that. Had I known when I left that I wouldn't be posting for a few months I would left a post in here to make people aware.
I've never been the most active member, but I hope to be more active in the coming days and into the next couple of months. I can't guarantee that I won't go missing for a few days, but I don't anticipate not being able to post for months on end.
It seems that during my time away a few members have left and that's a shame, but there's still a good thing going here. I'm glad it's still going

Hi
Can any of you Computer Boffins help me here.
On my laptop I use Windows 10 and Google Chrome. When I switch on it boots quite quickly and then takes ages with the hard disk showing full usage. I t settles down. But if it goes asleep when I leave it for a while it does the same when I wake it up.
I tried to run chkdsk but was told ( by the software ) that I need not bother as the disk was fine.
I googled the internet and it seems it is because it is running some start up processes ? and I could stop some of them but which ? what is essential and what can be ignored.
Pity that Windows 10 does not display what the heck is going on.

Turned out to be the hard disk needed to be software repaired. Pity Windows 10 told me it was fine.
