Literally anything could happen here, least predictable game between these two in years.

I fancy United are going to Nick this one by a small margin. Hopefully it will be a good game to watch.

Would be happy with a draw now if it was offered
And for the life of me, if they start. would somebody tell Martial and Rashford to sharpen the hell up and be more fuckin clinical.
Tomorrow is not going to be a day for getting 2 and 3 bites of the cherry.

Going to cut them slack today for not going at it. Still had the best chances despite having nothing of the ball, generally speaking. Plus limiting them to moments of mistakes or bad bounces in the box
But again we cant get away from it. I said it prematch. Another no show from our forwards. Today's performance by them would be acceptable normally but we've seen it too often from them in these tight games.
Martial Rashford and Fernandez im talking about. I dont know what Bruno was complaining about when he got subbed?????
Pogba for all his critics tried to make something happen and could have won it for us. Fernandez is due the odd performance like this but he's had one too many of them now. We simply dont have the defensive abilities to justify an all out attacking approach that these guys need. There's going be game like these more often than not.
Liverpool away and Burnley away, in the last 2 league games. ok........ 2 totally different teams in terms of quality but an almost identical set of games in terms of each teams' strengths and how the performances ultimately went. For the plaudits Pogba's finish got other night it was actually scruffy enough But you get what Im saying???
it cant be sexy all the time
what exactly are our front guys looking for here??? its not going to be handed to them. got work for it and be sharper and more clinical. said this before the game.
Anyway if we had been initially offered 4 from 6 against Burnley and Liverpool I'd/we'd have taken it.
But those issues persist

Same old.
If you play a defensive double pivot of McFred in front of Maguire and Lindelof you are starving the forwards of service, period. You reduce your entire attacking options to long ball counter attacks, which used to be called 'kick and rush' football when I was at school. Pogba in the centre yesterday would have opened things up just enough to get the creativity and supply line going and nick that game.
Shaw was very good, as was Maguire and Lindelof and Pogba, despite being played out of position, but you still don 't get around that defensive double pivot effectively killing creativity - NOW, if either of McFred could pass accurately with some vision you'd have an entirely different picture but that's where we are.
If you'd have played Maguire and Bailly (and drilled it into him not to be a dickhead) you could have moved Pogba into the middle with Fred to get some creativity going to feed the forwards, fashion more chances.
We drew and we'd have taken that at the start, we had the clearer cut chances and should have won with what we had. Had we done the above we'd have created more chances..

I agree but that's why I spoke of a similar performance at Burnley. I mean Liverpool and Burnley are like chalk and cheese. If that's the way it is then we will continue to see performances like this for the rest of the season. Our backline and midfield is going to have an inconsistency in both picking and performance. I don't know what the story is regarding Lindelof/Bailly thing.
We hung tough yesterday like i said but then our forwards are on AWOL. Another day our strikers could be on their A game but the defence is only a mistake or lapse away from punishment.
We knew going to Anfield they would in all likelyhood have most of the ball. Even aside from the defence or midfield pickings, them or Ole can't be blamed for the poor passing, decision making and awareness of our forward line. And i lost count the number of offsides we had.

I see Jordan Henderson has come out and said he doesn’t understand Ole and Luke Shaw maintaining that we could have won it.
Apart from the first half hour I thought we played reasonably well and should have nicked it twice at the end. Bruno had a stinker but he wasn’t far away from scoring with that free-kick.
