So this is a real test, we'll have had 5 days rest and training for this, so I'm expecting a decent head to head encounter. Sevilla in top form but doable IF we take our chances.

You are right Edwood, we need to be at the top of our game for this one. I expect we will only get a few opportunities so the boys need to be sharp and make them count. Patience will also be a key factor.

I’m nervous about this also, Sevilla are experts regarding this competition. Here’s hoping Bruno or Greenwood pull something out of the bag for us. It would be great for Ole to get us to a European final.

Looks like we’re wearing the new away black kit tonight. That bench screams ‘we need signings’. Really hope we don’t start passing it around at the back. Think we’re more than capable of winning this but it’s going to be tough I think.

Granted, didn’t play badly but if you held a gun to my head - I’d have to say I don’t really rate this squad. Elite teams score and their second goal gets dealt with at source. Never been convinced by Lindelof and fully justifiable that Bruno had an argument with him about that goal - haven’t seen that since Keano’s days. Jury is still out for me on Maguire and AWB has to be more vocal to assist the two centre half’s. Additionally, AWB has to bust a gut to get into a defensive position - do not stop when the ball is arriving in the box. If the Glazers and Woodward are serious about being successful on the pitch - they have to install a Director of Football and splash the cash - both won’t happen because they don’t want to give up power to a DoF - and this hierarchy do not want to spend money in any capacity. Finish in the CL places, fob the fans off and keep the cash cow that is the club going. We’re miles off the really proper elite well run clubs. Going nowhere fast under this ownership - now 3 years without a trophy.

I think the next month will tell us what the gimps in the hierarchy are going to do about it. If they’re serious they’ll bring in 3 or 4 players - problem is Ed and Matt Judge can only handle 1 signing at a time which makes things all the more ridiculous. Plain truth is we’re not an elite club that’s well run anymore. I’ve never hated the hierarchy of this club more than I do right now - and as I’ve said I’ve never met them, I’m sure a lot of United fans feel the same. Hugely disappointing - 3 trophyless seasons on the bounce tells you something. God help us in the CL next season.

Didn’t take our chances and got punished but played alright and much better than the cowardly show we put out last time against them.
Really shoddy defending for both goals, Lindelof got done and just isn’t good enough.
Referee was fecking shite.
Disappointing that we’ve just fizzled out towards the end of the season, goals have dried up which is concerning although we did have more than enough chances last night. Ole also has mentioned about tiredness a few times which is another worry with next season right around the corner, need to strengthen and give the team a boost.
