Really don't know, I have a feeling he just doesn't fully trust Herrera yet. His performances have been kinda hit and miss, I'd have him in there nearly every week as I think he makes us play at a quicker pace.

A little of that as well and he's had a few injuries, I agree he ups the tempo and creates openings, I'm wondering why he hasn't pushed him further forward rather than on the bench. I think he's been one of our most influential players which from the stats I've seen back that up, drop Mata for a game or two and give him a go if he's insistent on 352.

The 3-5-2 has worked great against smaller teams though and especially when you consider the amount of injuries that we've had

How a manager with the attacking talent we have can play such boring, negative anti football is beyond me. If this is a sign of things to come then we may as well have stuck with Moyes, especially after spending £150+m on talent that should be making us drool week after week. Instead it's like watching Stoke play ( no disrespect to Stoke) week after week.

There's a reason why he got fired from his previous job at Bayern and Barca. he was playing too much anti-football with the wealth of talents he had.

The year before he was sacked at Bayern he won the league title and made it to the Champions League final... When he was sacked they were in 4th position.
He won two league titles and the Copa del Rey in three years at Barcelona...
Both decisions I believe were more to do with infighting between van Gaal and the backroom and higher-ups at the clubs rather than the end product on the pitch.
Managers get fired... it's part of football. It's amazing that in 6 months or so we've already got people looking for his head on a stake.
You think he got fired for football reasons ie... results, Eric?

Just need to go back a month or so and see what people were saying about him on here (besides Hammy), a month of poor results and he's as bad as Moyes.

So who exactly would you bring in to replace him that plays "attractive football" ? Who did you want to replace Moyes?

so you are happy with the way we are playing now Doc? Are you happy he plays his 3-5-2 formation week in week out even against poor oppositions? You think that's working? Are you happy with his team selections?
I will let you answer all these questions first before I answer yours.

great response. I guess you are one of those fans that supports the manager because he's our manager and 'if' he gets dismissed/sacked, you will be saying, It doesn't really matter because he just ain't right for us.
