I'd love to see a fully committed pobga but I just don't think it's going to happen. 3 full seasons and other than a handful of great performances he's been average at best. He's always wanted Madrid so for me he can feck off and take his countryman with him. Another who only turns up when he wants. As Rach says. I'd take James any day of the week. Pogba and Martial are our 2 most gifted players but if they're not motivated then there's no point keeping them. The only problem now is if Pogba goes this summer or in the winter transfer window finding a replacement is going to cost us megabucks. We maybe could of got SMS for 90m but he'll go for a lot more now because Lazio will know we'll be desperate. That goes for any player we sign to replace Pogba. For one of the richest clubs in the world we're definitely one of the worst run of any top team in any division on the world stage. We'll never become a Leeds but the top brass seem to be doing everything in their power to make it happen. Luckily our club is bigger than any one entity and once the Glazers understand that then we'll be back on track or they'll be out the door without realising what's hit them.

Pogba is here for another season at least so he needs to suck it up and get down to business, Ole needs to find a solution in midfield and quickly. We aren’t seeing the best from either of current two.
Odd that you are questioning Martial’s motivation when the penny finally seems to be dropping, he’s got his no.9 shirt back, is in his favoured position and is so far delivering the goods. Two goals in three games and could have had two more yesterday if not for being wiped out illegally. Shown a great attitude, working hard, the lad was crocked and yet managed to set up James for the equaliser and even then he wasn’t admiring his pass he was dragging James back to try and grab the win.

I'm afraid it's going to take more than a couple of goals and an easy assist yesterday to think he's changed as a player. I watched the match again today to see if I missed something and I don't think I did. If you play the ball into martials feet then he can make a difference, for example when he should of had a penalty but play it a few yards wide of him then he loses interest and I think our definition of hard working isn't the same. He's one lazy feck that hardly ever gets out of 3rd gear during a match. As for giving an assist whilst crocked, I'm afraid for me that is crock. He was moving without any problems at all. Even in the replays you could see he was very light on his feet then all of a sudden straight after the goal he went out to the touchline and stayed there for about 3 minutes and started limping. As if to say, I've got my assist bonus don't need to do any more. A stone has more heart than him. If he was that bad why didn't he say something to the bench before Ole used all his subs? Then when Palace pushed up in the last minute where was Martial? You got it, stuck in palaces half. Even if he does score his fair share of goals I'm never going to like him as a player because he's never going to change that too laid back attitude of his.

Perhaps I got my timings wrong on his injury, you’ll know better than me having watched the match again. Just felt you were being a bit harsh, he has flattered to deceive for a lot of his career here and maybe has a questionable attitude but in these first three games he is showing promise to me. The effort has been there, the work rate defensively better than usual and being central is seeing him involved a lot more, he had a tendency to drift in and out of matches but he’s been influential from the first minute to the last with the majority of our good play coming through him. Of course it’s early days and work to be done but he’s showing signs of improvement in what is a huge season for him. Each to their own, everyone has players they don’t rate but hopefully they prove us wrong

I'd love it if he proves me wrong as well. The thing that pisses me off most about Martial is he has the potential but he just doesn't seem to know what to do with it whereas someone like Lingard doesn't frustrate me as much because he's just wank. When I was watching the game first time round I thought his injury came about after Jamess goal. Then the second time round I seen Martial hobbling on the touchline straight after Palace restarted after our goal so his injury must of been before James scored. The only thing I could see during the second half was in the 57th minute when Martial was clipped and he got up hobbling but then after a few minutes he looked fine again which is why it upset me seeing him limping him about with no apparent motive in the last minute. Unless he Injured himself celebrating. if he did then I hold my hands up and say I got it wrong. I had my rant about him because when Palace scored the winner I saw Martial still in Palaces half with no intention of running back to defend but if he was injured then I did get it wrong. Still not saying sorry though

Ole will show him what to do with it Watched the highlights but it didn’t show him pulling up, so had a look at a match tracker and the first mention of an injury was after James’ goal. No idea where he picked the injury up mind but either way he was struggling in the last five minutes so I’d cut him some slack on their goal.
