anyone hear about the potential la liga strike, they're talking about adopting a similar system for the distribution of money as the prem
needless to say, real madrid and barca are pissed. i hope it still goes through, let the other clubs get some money so they can at least play football full time and not have to take up 2nd jobs and actually get paid on time by their clubs

US isn't going to have Sepp arrested until we have a concrete case against him... thus the arrest of 9 FIFA officials including two vice presidents. Something tells me we'll be able to squeeze a little info out of them about a few things when they're facing the type of charges and jail time that they're facing. Nothing like turning snitches.

its really getting interesting for FIFA
this could backfire though for the US if somehow Blatter comes out of this clean.
I hope Australia assists in the investigation so we can get rid of Blatter. actually just most of them. would be fair to say at least 50% of the footballing entity's are completely rotten to the core, 70% has a decent amount of corruption and 95% has elements of corruption (being nice, more like 100%)
the sooner corruption is out of the game, the sooner the game can grow at an even greater rate

in all this, England going to be favourites for 2018 though (deservedly) and USA for 2022
at least that could clear the way for Aus 2026 (better do so,

Something between GTA and Fifa with Sepp running away from the police. I like it. I'm not convinced that smaller countries will be coming forward with the info. But anyway, it would be interesting to see how this will go.
