It's funny how everyone enjoys criticising United and their "poor play" under LVG, but how about Chelsea's display last night? Paris truly have amazed me. So many great players, such wonderful team ethics. I am not surprised in fact, because I have always rated Laurant Blanc as a manager. He has improved them massively.

I don't think anyone enjoys to criticize his own club mate, it's more like that people are impatient to see a free flowing football supported with results which doesn't happen over night, especially with the last year still in some players minds by the looks of things.
It seems that we're going circles again about this.
It's also noticeable that the general philosophy of the Premier league needs refreshing with a more emphasis on technique and skill. The rest of Europe are ahead a bit in those aspects which was visible the last two seasons for all who wants to see.

I think that's very much the issue with so many (fans and pundits alike). They should be more open-minded and evolve with their time, at the risk of being left behind, because that's what's happening, right now.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeal: Uefa rule out rescinding red card for PSG striker, despite call from Chelsea manager Jose MourinhoMartyn Ziegler Thursday 12 March 2015 Paris St Germain will not be able to overturn Zlatan Ibrahimovic's red card despite Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho calling on the European governing body to cancel the dismissal. UEFA has announced that referees' decisions are viewed as final unless it is a case of mistake identity. PSG head coach Laurent Blanc said the club would consider making an appeal but UEFA's position means Ibrahimovic will be suspended for at least one match as a result of his red card which was shown for a foul on Chelsea midfielder Oscar. A UEFA spokesman pointed to its disciplinary regulations which state: "Decisions taken by the referee on the field of play are final and may not be reviewed by the UEFA disciplinary bodies."Mourinho said after the 2-2 draw which saw PSG win on away goals that he "hopes UEFA can minimise the mistake". He said: "He would tell me if there was a reason for a red card. He was very disappointed. If that's the case I hope they can minimise the mistake and let him play in the quarter-finals because if he did nothing wrong he deserves that." Blanc said after the game: "There will be a committee who will convene to talk about the decision and I hope he will be in our party for the quarter-final." Manchester United failed in an attempt to overturn a red card for Darren Fletcher in 2009 after he was sent off in the Champions League semi-final against Arsenal despite video replays showing he had made little if any contact, and the Scotland midfielder went on to miss the final. www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/zlatan-ibrahimovic-appeal-uefa-rule-out-rescinding-red-card-for-psg-striker-despite-call-from-chelsea-manager-jose-mourinho-10104346.htmlThis just shows more further what a fecking ridiculous and embarrassing body UEFA is!!! What the feck are referees anyway, a polar bears to be protected like that?! I hate the feckers! People got sent off for no reason, Okay, there are mistakes, but after seeing the replays they do nothing about it and stick with they shielded men with the whistler! Feck off ya whores!

If the red card was in the first leg, would Jose be backing his appeal?

Agreed, the red was harsh as was the other red in the Bayern game, but UEFA have always been the ultimate bastards for constantly having a "How dare you question us?" attitude.

Yes, and that attitude ridiculing the game and people involved, the players and the audience. Cosa Nostra with Don Michele Platini I say.

There are retrospective bans but there aren't retrospective corrections of a wrong decisions.
Such a hypocrisy! And the world watches and nothing happens. Untouchable!

First match, everything is very much still open, could go both ways.
The other tie, slim chances for Arsenal but everything is possible.
Opting to watch the former but will keep an eye on Arsenal if they take the lead by two.
