Oh I'm definitely getting some otherwise what's the point of travelling if you don't turn it into a health experiment
I think I'd look somewhere around Camden cause that's where all the good stuff is basically

Right, Manchester: the museum tour - totally worth it, the art gallery was meh, Harry Ramsden's fish and chips is THE bollocks (as Hammy suggested), the Chester zoo was a lot of fun, but you should probably go in summer when most of the stands and attractions are working, the Birdcage's drag show was probably one of the highlights aaaand that's about it. Oh yeah, Clayton is a very nice hotel to stay into, a bit far away, but it's right next to the airport.
London was a bit of a disappointment, maybe because I got lost in the subway, the hotel I was staying in (Charlie's) is one of the worst I've ever been to, the London eye was shut and the tour bus was mostly stuck in traffic. The city is beautiful though, just waaaayyyy too crowded for my taste.

I'm not a big city lover, most of them are shit holes or partial shit holes, some have highlights, London's the same. I've avoided it like the plague for years now.

Pleased you enjoyed it, stick with us northerners, been to London a few times and I don't see what the fuss is about, as you say Ed as much a shit hole as the rest but we're a lot nicer. Too busy for my liking as well and full of inconsiderate people/tourists like Jie  Not been to Chester Zoo since I was a nipper, hope you saw some penguins!

I very well might stick with you northerners, I'm currently negotiating a switch to my company's U.K. branch which is in Liverpool but we'll see how it goes. Yeah I wasn't all that impressed with London, I mean the architecture is amazing but just not my type of place. All the people rushing everywhere gets you a bit anxious, but it's fun if you're there as a tourist. And damn right I saw some penguins and some sharks too at the London sea life But nothing really compares to the half-drunk typical United fan who was sitting next to me and was shouting "fock off yo scousers"
