Newcastle up next, Mourinho doesn’t have great record against them but we do and we should be beating them fairly comfortably. Some tricky matches this week weekend for our rivals so hopefully we can increase our cushion.

Our football wasn’t great but played well enough and created enough to win, Newcastle had two chances within 90 minutes but football isn’t just about chances and when it got to the nitty gritty we weren’t even in the battle. They fought for everything and worked hard for each other.
Poor goal to concede, another set piece where we looked clueless, Matic and Pogba just stood their waiting for a bus.
If Pogba was injured then he shouldn’t have started, even then he should have been hooked at half time. I don’t know whether his nose has been knocked out of joint with the arrival of Sanchez but he needs to grow the fuck up, him not being in his preferred position doesn’t excuse a lack of effort.
I’ll put these last few games down to teething issues with the Alexis coming in, the balance isn’t quite right at the moment and Jose needs to figure it out sooner rather than later. We have good players, they need to stop playing within themselves and pull their finger out.

didn't defend well for the goal.
I don't think we were clinical enough anyway and given how we played we should have won in all honesty.

There seemed to be a distinct lack of urgency at times yesterday, the players looked as though they were expecting to win and not prepared to put the extra effort in to actually win it
They have had a week off so being tired can not be used as an excuse
