Here's your one stop shop for everything related to the worst (relatively speaking) national football side in the world.
Right now we are ranked 20th in the world which will be the worst position we've finished a year in since FIFA started the rankings.

well, if the FA could be bothered hiring a decent manager they would be fine, but you like hiring shit managers like roy hodgson.
i can't believe im suggesting this, but brendan rodgers is worth a look, whilst he manages liverpool (its worked out really well so far hiring former liverpool managers as the england manager, oh and they're playing shit this season) i think he could get the england national team playing really well and he understands the english players really well
i think if you look at guys like barkley, chamberlain, sterling etc. he could make them a force. also, i think he could recover the national team careers of wilshire and joe hart potentially if the right staff is afforded to him.
Oh and you guys need to sort out the game at grass routes. clearly not enough incentive is placed on technical football and you notice it in the lower levels. Sort that out and you should be fine

The squad for the next International break is announced today, Saido Berahino tipped for his first call up - most likely at the expense of Lambert I'd have thought.

Was Sturridge injured for the last one or did he get injured at that one? Straight swap for him if so.

Surely Clyne is going to be in line for his England debut in this break. He's by far the best English right back about.

I'd have thought so because Stones played right back at the last one and he's out for a while. Glen Johnson is fit again though, most wouldn't have him near an England squad but no doubt he still gets in.
Going on form then all of the English regulars in the Southampton side should be in.

Without a doubt, who are England playing in the break is it just a friendly vs Scotland?

No, they've got Slovenia as well on the Saturday. Scotland's a Tuesday night I think.

Ah, really don't have a great deal of interest in the national side. I'll watch the matches but win, lose or draw I'll stay pretty emotionless.
