Chelsea up next... our record here is torrid so you could say we are due a win and Chelsea aren’t looking great at the minute so who knows. Draw here wouldn’t be the worst result and we’ll know how City’s match panned out beforehand. De Gea Bailly - Smalling - Jones Valencia - Matic - Herrera - Young Mata Rashford - Lukaku
Jose did say he was waiting on a few injuries so maybe we could have a surprise return. I’d expect a similar game plan to the Spurs match but maybe a change in no.10 role as Micky has been sloppy and rather poor lately. I’d like to see Mata, he may not have the pace for the counter but he can keep possession, help control the game and pick out a pass which I feel we’ve lacked in our big matches so far.

I agree Dave. We have lost some of the crispness in our passing which has resulted in the defenders cutting out a lot of passes, Micky yes and Martial too lingers too long on the ball. I am going for a United win by the odd goal, Chelsea have seemed out of touch with each other lately. Hope Pogba is a SURPRISE return. We are not a One Man team but we do miss him a lot. United without Pogba is like Oomtom without his CHEESE or Laurel without Hardy or Morecambe without Wise or Fish & Chips without Mushy Peas or The Sun without Page 3

Well everyone wanted Jose to change tact, it worked well didn’t it...
Never do any good at the Bridge, lost the midfield battle today and had no control of the game, Micky did next to nothing and Matic and Herrera were simply outnumbered. Jose should have really changed it at half time and beefed up the midfield, poor goal to concede left Morata completely free.
Fellaini caused them problems but again can’t control midfield, I’m at a loss why Mata was sat in the stands and Micky lined up on the pitch. Sloppy all over and hardly got the ball into our attackers, Lukaku was poor but again feeding on scraps. The attacks looked disjointed since Mourinho took over and doesn’t seem to be changing, no cohesion or patterns to our play which is frustrating.
8 points is a big gap but it’s still early days, get some players back over the int break and we go again.

was Mata injured for this, cause he would have been damn helpful, Jose tactically this season has been a worry at times because Mata would have .
Its clear we're not going to catch City unless they collapse. We're not there yet, we need another threat moving forward (why i think we should be in for sanchez in january).
Also Jose wants a payrise, forget it, he honestly isn't worth it, he's done good this season but he isn't exactly the best manager in the world and is highly frustrating also.

Nobody wins the league beginning of November, wake me up mid January and we'll have a clearer idea. But if we don't make a couple of astute signings in January it's not happening for us.

But if we don't make a couple of astute signings in January it's not happening for us. but we're 8 points behind city already and they're playing out of their minds. Meanwhile we're fumbling and losing to Huddersfield Town and with this backline the way they are now. How are we going to actually going to win the league. We don't even need the astute normal united signings (that will be good down the line), we need a CB (an actual leader) and that left winger that can come in now and make an impact. Also Jose needs to actually show some imagination with his selections, what's the point of having Mata not even on the bench when you know you lack creativity. We're 2nd in the league but honestly over the last month his managing has been pretty bloody poor to be honest. He shouldn't be commenting on random things and focus on the fans and other bullshit. Needs to also stop being an exotic tony pulis whilst we're at it and play some attacking football.

but we're 8 points behind city already and they're playing out of their minds. But if we beat them twice, the difference will only be 2 points. So in reality, all is not lost.

but we're 8 points behind city already and they're playing out of their minds. If they manage to keep that pace up for an entire season then fair play they deserve to win it - however, I don't think they will, I think there will be a few twist and turns along the way, there always is. We just need to be on their tails to take advantage so we need to try and get a couple of signings in January to strengthen - a real left back would be a start. One world class CB (how many times have we said that) wouldn't go amiss. As for Jose you know what you'll get when he hasn't got a fully fit first eleven - defence and pragmatism first, second, last.
