We should win this easily with a high score at home. Nothing else seems possible - put this in the bag to ease up on the two remaining fixtures. He can even afford to rest a few ahead of the Chelsea match on the weekend. So a comfortable win in style tonight 3 or 4 nil should be possible and we can build on the Spurs win. On the selfish side - because I'm going to the game here in Basel - if we do qualify tonight then it's likely our reserve team will be up against Basel on 22 Nov with them them still playing all out for second place depending on how they do against CSKA tonight .......... so hardly a gripping match to follow

Went to the match last night, what an absolute thriller it was as well We made a few changes and I don’t know whether Jose said take it easy but I’ve seen quicker matches of walking football. We looked disjointed in attack first half, losing the ball too easily and hardly built anything, got a bit better when Mata came central. Martial was nonchalant with his pen but we got the goal. Second half wasn’t much better, a couple of flashes of good play but meh... Benfica didn’t really help matters, apart from Bailly’s mental lapse they offered very little and never really made a game of it. Maybe we were just too comfortable. McTominay was very good again, kept it simple for the majority but stuck to his job and won the ball back on several occasions. He’s developing well and doesn’t look out of place, he suits Mourinho so hopefully will continue getting game time. 4 from 4, pretty much qualified and we’ve hardly broken sweat
