Back in the Champions League We haven't been particularly impressive in Europe since Sir Alex so I'm hoping to see that change and win our group convincingly which should be doable. I'm not sure what Basel are like these days but we should be beating them regardless.
De Gea Valencia - Lindelof - Smalling - Blind Matic - Pogba Mata - Micky - Rashford Lukaku

A solid win by us. Rashford really has been the super sub that we've needed since Chicharito left and Lukaku is honestly the man (can you imagine if we get Griezmann and put him up top with Lukaku).
Martial was a bit dissapointing tbh, he beats players off the dribble but afterwards is the issue, he doesn't really finish that well nor is he getting the right balls into the box. Also Pogba now getting an injury, we're a bit screwed but hopefully Matic, Herrera and Mata (along with Fellaini when we need a donkey in midfield) will do the job for now.

Nice Match Fact
Manchester United are unbeaten in 32 successive home games in all competitions (W21 D11 L0) and have not lost at Old Trafford for a year (10th September 2016). This is their best unbeaten home run since October 2011 (37 games).

Good start, two great goals from cracking crosses - two headed goals at that! Big plus on that. Fellaini, Matic and Young all MOTM material and Marcus bagging another super sub goal, even if he did scuff it.

A nice match to ease back into the European scene, comfortable throughout and well taken goals.
We weren't at top gear but did enough, Fellaini bossed the midfield, Young with good delivery and Lukaku and Rashford bagging debut goals. Defensively we weren't really tested but still it was unconvincing from the centre backs making unforced errors which is a concern.
Mourinho said we relaxed too much after the second goal and played PlayStation football. Tougher tests to come so stay focused lads.
