Stoke are the next team up for a thumping Never an easy match this one, think Jose could well beef up midfield and given the internationals and midweek match we could see some changes. Keep the momentum going and the goals flowing. De Gea Valencia - Bailly - Jones - Blind Herrera - Matic Rashford - Pogba - Martial Lukaku

2-2. Disappointing and annoying as fuck. International break does us no favours again and we didn't look at it, Jones looked leggy and Bailly not much better, Darmian not brilliant. Going forward we weren't really at it either, Lukaku needs to bag that Martial chance...meh!

Well Phil Jones ain't getting a game again surely. As it turns out we did need that full back in the window as Darmian isn't cutting it.
Can't complain too much on our attack though, that part was solid, it was our defense that let us down. We lack that really strong CB to put next to Bailly now, hopefully Lindelof comes in sooner rather than later.

Watched the match after, the international break killed our momentum and we just weren't really at it.
Stoke were good and their two strikers caused problems for our defence, Bailly was all over the place and Jones with a huge mistake but hopefully was just an off day. Attacking wise we created some good chances, Butland made some good saves but at the same time probably didn't work him enough. In hindsight we probably didn't need that extra midfielder so something to learn from.
Just one of those rusty days after internationals, unfortunate it was us but they happen. Onto the Champions League and a chance for Smalling and Lindelof to impress.
