tomorrow we have the opening game of the 2nd matchday, which rarely happens. Hope we put pressure on the the other by secring a win without trouble. Doesn't necessarily need to be another thrashing but a convincing , professional display ending in a 2-0 will do. Hope for Herrera to play. Siggy is a big loss for them, think they may be in trouble this season. Same again from us building on our first win, I'd go unchanged and let the combinations develop.

I'm thinking that Martial deserves a start after his performance last week v West Ham when he came on to give him the confidence that if he performs he'll earn a start.
Give Rashford a break on the bench this week and rotate the two when necessary over the course of the season to keep them eager.
Rashford isn't too shabby a replacement if Martial isn't working out or vice versa.
A like for like swap when needed with both being speedsters with dribbling abilities, the stuff that defenders have nightmares about and we have two of them.

Fecking brilliant, goals galore and clean sheet to boot  Bit of a boring game, Swansea camped behind the ball but a comfortable performance and win from us. Great subs from Mourinho again bringing Fellaini and Martial on, pushing Pogba up, last season at 1-0 up with 80 mins to go we'd be trying to see out the match and probably end up drawing. 3 goals in under four minutes, ruthless. |

Result better than performance but result is what matters most. Leicester will be a different test.
We are still having our problems against purely defensive sides but as soon the first goes in and the opponent needs to open up a bit we make use of the extra space ruthlessly!
Seeing us finishing games off is so pleasing!
