UNITED SIGN ROMELU LUKAKU
Manchester United is delighted to announce the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Everton on a five-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year.
The 24-year-old Belgian international striker will join the team in LA ahead of pre-season training.
Jose Mourinho said:
"Romelu is a natural fit for Manchester United. He is a big personality and a big player. It is only natural that he wants to develop his career at the biggest club. He will be a great addition to the group and I know they will make him very welcome. I am really looking forward to working with him again."
Romelu Lukaku said:
"I would like to start by thanking Everton and the fans for the last four wonderful seasons, I have made some special friends and we have shared some amazing moments. However, when Manchester United and Jose Mourinho come knocking at the door it is an opportunity of a lifetime and one that I could not turn down. You could see the fight, determination and the spirit in this team during the Europa League final and I want to become a part of that. I cannot wait to run out at Old Trafford in front of 75,000 fans but before that pre-season is where the hard work starts and I am looking forward to that first training session."

Talks so well in both interviews, already saying 'we' and seems really hungry and determined to show what he can do. I can't wait to see these two linking up

First of all, delighted to have him. Right age, proven in the league and looks the better deal than Morata.
Completely different to what we used to have, less mobile but a tank. Scored 3/68 outside the box so don't expect screamers we were used from Wayne. Different type and more what suits the Mourinho's tactics. Whether you like that style of play or not he's a perfect fit to it.
Now the manager needs to show us this still works.

Lukaku... what a player. Whilst at Everton and even from their fans as well I used to wonder what he gave if he wasn't really scoring, seemed rather lazy but boy was I wrong he works his fecking socks off. He got his goal in the end yesterday but if not still it would have been an excellent performance, works so tirelessly for the team and so selfless in his actions. The other day he was at left back winning the ball back for us. Just keeps on proving us wrong and improving so kudos

I love this guy A fair few of our players need to take a leaf out of his book particularly his best mate.

Can't really fault his season and effort, certainly the right choice made between him and Morata

Have you heard this waffle-headed fanny-fart banging on again?
Can't wait for Sanchez to bugger off and hook up with him, delusional fuckers.
