Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Joel Pereira, Kieran O’Hara, Demetri Mitchell, Josh Harrop, Angel Gomes, Scott McTominay, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Axel Tuanzebe will all feature against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Speaking today, he noted that Angel Gomes, Kieran O’Hara and Timothy Fosu-Mensah would also play a part against Sam Allardyce’s side.
“Joel and O’Hara. Mitchell. Harrop. Gomes. McTominay. Fosu-Mensah. Axel [in the squad],” he said. “Lots of them together, no. I will bring three or four first team players to play one half where I can give some experience to the team.”
“For the kids it will be a great experience to play in the Premier League in the last match of the season. It will be a big occasion but I think the best for the young player is in the middle of an experienced structure, where he can be supported.
“To play so many kids at the same time I don’t think it’s good because there is a big difference in quality strength and experience.”

Utterly meaningless game but at least the kids get a run out. DDG watch will be out in full force.

De Gea better start the Europa League. Romero is fine but jesus christ you'd hope you would go with the world class keeper and not the bang average one for the cup final that determines the future of the club (then again Jose's stubborness has cost us before).
Anyway this game doesn't matter, manager doesn't care so neither should the fans really, honestly shouldn't even grace them with their presence after the dross served up in recent times.

Jose sticks it up Souness' filthy scouse arsehole in the program notes.. Mourinho was never going to accept that sort criticism from Souness. During his press conference on Friday, the United boss aimed a thinly-veiled dig at Souness. "Our biggest problem is the number of matches is unbelievable," Mourinho said. "But I know some people like to lie. I think they are paid not to lie, they are paid to be honest and speak from their knowledge to the people that watches TV and reads newspapers, but some of them lie." "I have seen in the football media that certain pundits cannot understand why our players are tired," Mourinho wrote in his programme notes. "A pundit is not honest if they cannot forget their colours or if they try to hide the truth from their audience. "It's not my fault if their managerial career was very poor." And, according to Manchester Evening News, his comments had to be watered down because they were originally too strong. www.givemesport.com/1058574-jose-mourinho-mocks-graeme-souness-in-his-programme-notes?autoplay=on

Very pleasant surprise on a sunny day for sure, no pressure and told to go out there and play, worked a treat.
We were a bit lost again when Pogba went off, and he looks as though he's carrying an injury. Some Dutch hack claims he is being treated for hamstring issue (by a Dutch physio) for the best part of 2 months.

Good end to the season,
Mourinho with a bit of mind games(?) as Palace probably thought they were in for an easy afternoon, also maybe there is something to the tiredness/fatigue stuff although I hate that excuse.
Palace were poor yes but our kids were excellent, played with confidence and freedom, some of the weight of pass puts the seniors to shame and a great debut goal from Harrop. The first half we played some good stuff, our play was much quicker back to front, majority of passes were going forward, attack was the best form of defence and hopefully Jose will allow the main team to play like that.
2 shots on target, 2 goals. Clinical.
