Not really bothered provided I don't see Rashford, Pogba, Bailly, Valencia on the pitch

Only Valencia has been left at home, there are a few youngsters but I struggle to see them starting other than maybe Tuanzebe. City winning today is probably top four done but could still be a slip up from the Scousers before our match De Gea Tuanzebe - Smalling - Jones - Darmian Carrick - Pogba Mata - Micky - Rooney Martial
Midfield we are very thin, how we could do with a Basti or Morgan right now... Pogba has played less minutes than Herrera this month so I see him starting and then switch them at the 60 minute mark. Still a decent team with players that should have a point to prove. As for Arsenal they've been trash this season and have rode their luck on many an occasion, Mourinho has a terrific record against Wenger and I doubt he wants to lose our unbeaten run against him so I expect him to have something up his sleeve.

Matthew Olosunde, Axel Tuanzebe, Demetri Mitchell, Scott McTominay, Matty Willock, all drafted in. Bailly, Rashford, Lingard and Valencia played the most minutes during April. I hope Jose pulls a special out of the bag for this.

Good morning people, the least exciting game is upon us! Ok that's probably not true, but given the injuries and chances of us making top 4 it's all kinda...meh. I can't figure out what team Mourinho is going to go for - on one hand you want to win, but you can't risk your players considering the Europa league match coming on. I'd still probably start strong and sub on the kids depending on how the game goes. I'm thinking something like this: De Gea Darmian Bailly Smalling Blind Carrick Rooney Pogba Mata Martial Mkhitaryan I kinda like this as it gives you the option to pull Mata and Micky into midfield where I expect us to have the biggest problems

Mourinho losing to Wenger... for shame Jose, for shame.
Shit game, negative tactics, pull this crap again on Thursday and we'll be out of that as well.
Only positives were Tuanzebe who had a fine game, though Arsenal weren't at it either and game time for our players coming back from injury.

Given up on the league weeks ago but for teams above us given us 2nd and 3rd chances. Only shame is today's defeat hadn't come earlier in this unbeaten league run.
If I hadn't seen any footie since chelsea 4-1 and told today was our first defeat since there's no way I'd have believed we were outside the top 4. This cup style approach doesn't work in most league games. Start and finish the game dominantly or at least go out with that mindset. All eggs in europa league basket now

Pogba's glaring absence again
Well it's certainly told us exactly how far short we are if we want to do the league and cup double / treble.

I have held up adding my comments till now because I needed the red haze of anger/frustration to clear. The only positive to take from the game was that Tuanzebe looks like a useful player for the future. How can United have degenerated so far so quickly ? We have such potential but it is surrounded by mediocrity. Without Ibra no direct threat up front. Without Pogba no muscle in the midfield, Without Carrick no calming influence in the centre of things. Without Antonio no incisive runs down the right wing. Rooney has for the most part lost the hunger except for screaming at the officials and Martial is the master of running into defenders and losing the ball.
How on earth do we cover all these inadequacies, how big is the Cheque Book.
The Europa is the only chance to save at least some face.
