Shaw hopefully gets the benefit of the doubt and stays (have some patience Jose, he's young and not a hack unlike half our squaddies).
Anyway needless to say, we need to win the europa given our schedule in the premier league is bad.
In theory we should beat them at home, they're 11th in La Liga, thats pretty bad for a league with little to no depth (they're behind Eibar and Alaves ffs), i would take a draw away from home but it would be good to see some intent and see this team rebound after the abysmal game on the weekend.

Cheers Ed Never know what you'll get with us but we should be beating Celta, Ajax thumped Lyon yesterday (4-1) so it's looks like they'll be in the final but let's do our job here first. Get this leg won and we can go into Arsenal relatively strong then sew up the return leg with relative ease I hope.

Good news about those available - Pogba, Smalling and Jones are back in the squad.
We will need a solid defence so I will settle for at least 1 away goal ( hopefully 2 ) in a Drawn game. A win would be orgasmic.

good result. Should have been more clinical and it is something that will need to (and probably will be) addressed in the summer transfer window (like seriously, the lack of players who are clinical at this club is amazing).
What a shot from Rashford though for the goal. Absolute cracker of a goal.

Good Result but rather shaky at times and the away goal could be significant. Pity Jesse did not make it 2 but given the circumstances a win with a clean sheet was acceptable. Rashy what a free kick my man ! Now learn how to chip the ball at your pace and you will be worth your weight in Gold.

Good performance, solid rather than spectacular but nonetheless a good show away from home.
Finishing let us down again, we should have been out of sight in the first half but any away win is a great result. Finish the job at OT.
