Early away goal would kill it stone dead. One eye on the cup final hopefully. Not an easy tie and a potential banana skin if the performance / team selection is not right

Annoying kick off time. Expecting a dull and tepid affair but I couldn't care less, with the lead we have we should be fine just no complacency as they aren't a bad side. De Gea Valencia - Bailly - Rojo - Shaw Basti Fellaini - Pogba Mata - Ibra - Rashford

Aye, Jose said at the presser Shaw needs to train hard for an extended period before he'll get a look in.
Martial was also speaking so he should start tomorrow.

Why are Man United playing St Etienne on Wednesday?
Because Lyon and Etienne are just 31 miles apart they cannot play home games on the same day.
Lyon play Dutch side AZ on Thursday night and because they are the higher ranked club by Uefa, above Etienne, they kept their spot and United’s was shifted.
The reason the game is at 5pm is Uefa don’t allow Europa League matches to clash with the Champions League which will also be played that night with 7.45pm starts.
and here I was thinking that we somehow got a fixture break to have a day more prepare the final at Wembley ............ just a lucky coincidence

Professional display.
Good first half and got that important away goal which killed the tie, comfortable in the second half and didn't exert ourselves too much ahead of the final.
Good night apart from Bailly being a moron.

Lack of squad rotation and that team selection cost him.
Shit man management.

Didn't realise Carrick picked up an injury.
Strange they both started again today after playing on Sunday especially if he was planning to start them in the final.
