Do we know the situations on missing players? Expect those that didn't play midweek to be involved with this one, keep them fresh but firing before the cup final. Jose hinted he'd be going strong and I guess with the advantage we have in the Europa we can afford to rotate midweek. So maybe something along the lines of: De Gea Valencia - Bailly - Smalling - Shaw Herrera - Basti Mata - Micky - Martial Rashford

Yup, we should be going strong for this one, I see that Carrick is back so I'd be tempted to start him. I don't see Shaw starting anytime soon, so I'd go for Blind or Darmian De Gea Valencia Bailly Smalling Blind Carrick Herrera Pogba Mkhitaryan Ibrahimovic Martial

It's so surprising to me that we keep pulling off these victories...but it was only possible once Pogba and Zlatan came on.
The biggest concern for me remains Smalling - I really don't understand what is happening with him, we all know he is a great player but for some reason he looks completely out of it under Mourinho.
What do you guys think?

Average performance but did what we needed to do, controlled the game throughout but without any real zip in our play. The goal conceded was poor, sluggish from our midfield, Rojo playing tag with Emnes and Smalling sleeping but after that they were decent. Blackburn played well but in the end we had too much quality.

What do you guys think? Seven clean sheets and four goals conceded(one of which that fluke for Stoke) in his last 10 so if that's completely out of it then I can't wait until he's on it Yesterday's goal aside he has been very good since his return so strange comment for me, absolutely dominates the air and now understands how Mourinho wants him and the team to defend. Poor start to the season but he's on the road to recovery.
