Apparently Rafael and Januzaj are injured, and Daily Mail described RVP as "rusty to say the least". Didn't watch the game though, so I have no idea

U21's 3-0 up at half time away to Fulham. Van Persie scored the first and Joe Rothwell scored the others.

I don't really watch the U21s anymore because I can never find a decent stream, but how does Joe Rothwell look generally?
He seems to have just plodded through the system without really generating any hype but he seems to bag himself plenty of goals at that level. The finish for his second last night was brilliant to pass it into the corner from 20+ yards, the type of finish I've seen Kroos do many a time.
Does he have the potential to be a bit of a Lampard? Maybe never quite having the ability to control games, but will get bags of goals from midfield in the right setup.

He's been one of the most consistent performers in the U21's for me this season. He's definitely more comfortable in the attacking 3rd of the pitch rather than sitting in the centre and trying to dictate the pace of a game. I just don't know whether he'll get to the top level, he occupies the same role as Harrop and I personally think Harrop is the one with the most potential of the 2 as I see him as having the ability to dictate the pace of a game as well as being at home and incredibly effective in the final 3rd.

1-0 5 minutes in. Wilson breaks the line of defence and they can't catch up with him, nice finish into the bottom right hand corner.

Been a decent performance so far, Januzaj looking lively down the left and they're finding Wilson a little hard to handle... Joe Rothwell doing well as well.
