 Fight back time Reds - Merson seems to think we can do this ......................... or does he ? I was disappointed in Swansea on Monday night, they were pretty light and average. Manchester United, meanwhile, can't score a goal. They had so many shots against Burnley last week but couldn't find the back of the net and that's worrying. I think this is a hard game for United and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't win this, but I'm going to back them here. I'd bring Wayne Rooney back in. They haven't done anything without him in the team and they need big players. I'm sure if he'd been playing up front for as many games as Zlatan Ibrahimovic without a goal he would have been dropped by now. If he makes something happen and wins the game that will give him confidence and it may get the team on a little run. Paul predicts: 1-2 |

Need to start picking up the points and putting a good run together in the league, not holding my breath though... take any kind of win at the moment.

That back 4 scares the shit out of me Dave but as there's not much we can do about it we just have to get on with it. If Pogba isn't out for at least a couple of weeks I'd be surprised. Get piggy in there. We've tried everything else. Mata for me has to play number 10 with Mickey out right and Rashford left and either one of Rooney/Ibra up front.

Surprised with our form that Merse' has gone for us, mustn't have seen last night, but yeah god only knows what United is going turn up. Came unstuck here before.
Pretty much everything has made all these fixtures even harder now than they ordinarily would have been. We've got to get the win simple as that.

My original prediction for this game was 0 - 2 for a United win. Then Pogba got injured so I changed it to 0 - 1. But if we don't turn up to play it like a Cup final it will be I fear a Draw at best.
I get no pleasure in City's draw yesterday. I lost prediction points and as I see it we are out to beat all the other 19 clubs to the Title not just City. People smiling are the other front runners, top dogs if you wish. The current also rans and no-hopers ( United included ) can only sit and wonder.
We have a massive injury list but I remember once we almost lost an entire team, the manager ( out of action ) etc but still fought our way to an FA Cup Final. We need that spirit NOW.
