Ken Stead, the current director of football set to leave the Brisbane Roar
Sean Dobson next. bring in two competent people (its the bakries, i doubt even they would tolerate complete ineptitude, due to it seriously jepordising their investment)

On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the best, where are they at?

How did a team went from 9 to 2 in a year?! :o management being a bunch or retards thats why oh and having owners who are cheap and not willing to replace key players who were sold or went to other teams also we fired our double winning manager after 6 weeks into the new season (and really, it was more 3 own goals) this season was a mess

Melbourne Victory 3-0 Melbourne City
City had more posession and more shots, just the fact they were terrible in front of goal. 18 shots, only 5 on target (victory only had 15 shots, 6 on target, yet 3 were goals)
they need to provide kennedy with some help (I think they should bring in Keogh as the marquee next season, or bring in a good 2nd striker from overseas) needless to say John Van Schip't has no idea tactically and should be sacked in the offseason and a new manager brought in (If they are smart, Ante Milicic seems like a very good option, if not then they will have to bring an overseas manager with aussie assistants)
as for the victory, first of all broxham, how was that not a red, seriously. anyway he will be visiting the match review panel (not that they will do much)
Crowd: 50 873 (that is a semi finals record and victory record for sure, big derby crowd, definitely good for the league when we can get this sort of numbers)

As mentioned to you Spens many times, our FA is clueless when arranging or organizing anything for the benefit of our country's football. We should be playing proper friendlies with other countries to prepare for the SEA games and not exhibition matches. That's the reason why we have dropped another 2 rungs to 166 in the World.

Sydney FC 4-1 Adelaide United
i had a feeling this would be pretty one sided, but not this bad. Sydney were clinical on the counter. Adelaide end the campaign with a bit of a whimper after starting off so strongly (winning the FFA cup) its a shame really. Gombau has some thinking to do in terms of recruitment, Palanca is rubbish, he needs to bring in a better player for sure.
This win sets up a big blue clash (Victory and Sydney), with it being a repeat of the 09-10 grand final
Crowd: 27000 (not the exact figure but it is around there, which in itself is pretty bad for sydney fc, usually they can get more then that to a finals game)

another update on the farcical Spurs friendly. Malaysia will be using 5 imports for the match...and our coach says it's a good warm up for the World Cup Qualifying round as he will be testing our first team regulars in that match.
yea, 6 first team regulars will be playing and how is he going to create/build better understanding among the players with the inclusion of the 5 imports? Will the imports be joining our senior team in the WCQ tournament? Bollocks. Absurd! If that's not an exhibition match, I don't know what that is!

anyway the Roar have sacked Sean Dobson
we can rejoice. Stead and Dobson are gone and the club can go back to competent management
i hope Ramon can find a good TD and we can confirm the fact that Tribuletx is our new manager already (seriously, no announcement at all from the club since our last CL game, its a damn disgrace really)

ok, its actually quiet bad if this is all true, we are in a lot of trouble, thankfully the FFA will want us to be succesful so i can see us going on a recruitment drive. Mind you there is a lot of rich businessmen in brisbane who would be in someway involved in football (a consortium of multi-millionares to about billonare level) or a combination of that and fans involved. it would be a unique take on it the bakries have sold their other clubs so this may have more in it than i would have previously thought. If only i was a millionare (with at least 500 million wealth, at the end of the day, the team is losing money )

needs more JVS
but yeah no surprises. Jaliens and a couple of the older players are candidates for south east asia or the npl
though ramsey and duganzic may find a-league gigs (though with it being offseason, both would be much better off trying to get into NPL teams now if they want to get back into the a-league next season)
