Economical methodical with a sprinkling of stardust. Not much more could be asked for on opening day. Just a shame we didnt keep that clean sheet but all in all good day

Very positive start. Better than I thought it would be actually. When you consider we've still got Pogba to come into the side it's a very exciting time to be a Manchester United fan again.

First win under the belt  Efficient display, clinical goals and solid defensively bar their goal. Shame about the clean sheet but other than that a very good afternoons work. Have to admit I wasn't sure about that midfield but Mou made a great call with Fellaini, snuffed out the crosses etc. the back four were excellent as well. Can't wait till Friday, bringing Pogba into the fold. |

The first half was a little disjointed, but it got much better in the second. I have to agree that Fellaini did a good job yesterday, same goes for Bailly. A lot of promise from Zlatan and Martial. I especially liked the part when Zlatan flattened two defenders :lol: But yeah - the edge that we were lacking last season is there and considering we were running without our engine - Pogba - we still got a great result.
Can't wait for the next one
